Hmmmm. Food for thought. Alhaji owns 84% of DangRef. lipsrsealed

Raider76:
This what AI says about the shareholding structure of the Jamnagar Refinery in India. The refinery is the largest in the world:

The Jamnagar Refinery complex in Gujarat, India—the largest petroleum refining complex in the world—is 100% owned and operated by Reliance Industries Limited (RIL).
Because the refinery operates directly as an integrated division (O2C – Oil-to-Chemicals segment) of RIL rather than an independently listed subsidiary, its ultimate equity ownership mirrors RIL's overall corporate shareholding pattern.
RIL Shareholding Structure (Ultimate Beneficial Ownership)
* Promoter Group (Ambani Family & Holding Entities): ~50.5%
* Held through Ambani family members and investment entities/LLPs such as Srichakra Commercials LLP, Devarshi Commercials LLP, Karuna Commercials LLP, and Tattvam Enterprises LLP.
* Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs / FPIs): ~17.2%
* Held by global sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, and international portfolio investors.
* Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs): ~15.5%–16.5%
* Mutual Funds (~10.1%), Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), and Indian financial institutions.
* Public & Retail Investors / Others: ~15.8%–16.8%
* Individual retail shareholders, non-institutional corporate bodies, and Global Depository Receipts (GDRs).

This dagote IPO bear may likely swallow FTSE formal listing of ngx next week.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by millo: 1:48pm On Sep 14
I don't think so. The gidigba Banks listed like GTCO and Zenith have refused any significant drop so far.

Someone said the figure on the NGX website may be for the whole market trade, and not necessarily for the refinery IPO alone.
Can anyone confirm?

Apart from the security issues—which are obvious and undeniable—this is why I question the "Ebi n pawa" talk. It feels like political noise.

Look at the facts: an ordinary fake CBX took ₦178B from the public. Massive capital-intensive projects are going on in every part of the country—by churches, companies, organisations. The FG is disbursing trillions to states. The First Lady is giving out billions from time to time.

All that money is going into circulation. Money leaves traces and rubs off on people.

But circulation is not distribution. That's the real issue.

If you are not experiencing hardship, thank God for your life and His blessings.

''Ebi n pawa'' is Yoruba language, for ''we are feeling hungry''.
It is a statement first used by market women and artisans in Lagos Island when Tinubu visited the Central Mosque in Lagos shortly after his inauguration. Why would Yoruba market women play politics against Tinubu?

Please do not underplay the misery and reality of people who experience hardship.
And do not insult the sensibilities of people who are feeling the hardship

May God bless us all and deliver us from harsdhip

Those of us who are paying school fees, sending transport money to our own age mates who are earning 500k per month while also helping out on rent for others and consoling yet others for lost opportunities and jobs are just looking and smiling
