Its a function of your life activitues, decisions and plays and how you handled and maintained it, you didn't just wake up to reality but you failed to accept reality way back, you were against the realities of life and are just waking up to it. No need for us to argue this oo. I bought my first Japanese car in 2016, today in 2026, 10yrs after, I have no car. I know the reason of which I contribute to the cause. A lady that pretends to be marriageable and secures herself a man is quickly bundled back to her father's house when she is tired of pretending. Women are everywhere outnumbering men in world's population but wives are scarce. Why do you have a lot of unmarried black ladies in their 30s and 40s up there in the united states? Your guess is as good as mine. Go to the north, west and eastern Nigeria to verify what I said earlier first before we continue. If a lady is truly marriageable at 30 and decides personally not to marry maybe because of career or other personal reasons, she will regret it when she feels, she is now ready for it. Some do it because they are the only bread winner in their family and want to train their younger ones but the end always turn bitter because she can lose her opportunity of becoming married in the process and those ones she sacrificed her life for might move on without her. These are scenerios I have personally witnessed.Character is chief among what makes a woman marriageable and that 41 year old disgracing her generation online might still not have it! That one you felt time and chance happened to is because you do not know her personally, go close and see the story of her life why she crossed 30 unmarried. My only exception is if the lady in question is a single mother.

I understand you but honestly men do compromise a lot when looking for a wife too. Reasonable men usually focus on the key qualities while overlooking some frivolous ones.


You will see men who use to date only beauty pageants (I mean super gorgeous ladies) intentionally settle with an averagely beautiful woman just to have a great and wonderful home/marriage, they don't do it cos they are fools, they face reality when they want to settle down.


Like me for instance, when I finished NYSC, I was very broke and aggressively job hunting and doing street hustling business that came by to keep myself afloat, because of that I intentionally ignored ladies though some girls showed serious interest in me around my street and in Church back then, but I was so broke and insecure of my situation to agree to embark on any relationship, anyone I tried to start something with, I will run away out of fear cos I like very beautiful girls and I knew having them comes at a cost I wouldn't be able to sustain or cater for so I usually run away out of fear of billing lol.


Back then, though right from university days, I despised medical students cos of how they feel like they were the most important and most brilliant students while me an Engineering student knew I was far better in my own head oh and chose Engineering cos I hated anything blood or caring for people or visiting hospitals, and knowing how tough my course was with thermodynamics, Engine maths (Laplace Laplace transform, etc), Strength of materials, engine drawings, and a lot of very difficult courses I knew were far more difficult than most medical courses, so seeing medical students carry their shoulder up high made me despise them, especially the female ones lol.


It was so bad that a friend in the medical school back then tried to matchmake me with one of his cute course mate but after few dates I noticed the girl was feeling too pompous and over important and I just blanked her to her shock, my friend did everything and I stood my ground without telling him why. So I never liked anybody called medical student, even my friend I didn't like his profession, I only liked him as a person lol.



Fast forward years later, I ended up with one of them even though I wasn't so happy but I weighed my options and checked all the ladies I knew then and she happened to be the coolest and most cool headed so I just had to go with her despite not liking her profession lol. Also I used to prefer chocolate complexion ladies but I ended up bending the rule too. My point is, most married men dropped some standards to marry their wife they are happy with today. And most times that thing u didn't cherished 100% will later become your 200%, talking from experience.


You must not drop your standard per se, but u can overlook some overly high expectations while focusing on the key ones that matters and stand test of time.


Almost all my friends that are financially buoyant and some even rich today married broke except few that married comfortable. The two richest ones among us married very broke and one married a lady from a semi rich family and today that guy is richer than that ladies family no jokes. The guy is currently a comfortable Naira billionaire. This was a guy that wedded on a borrowed car without owning a wheelbarrow despite the wife coming from a semi rich family. They met in Church, the girl saw greatness in him cos my guy was scared going into the marriage even though he wanted to but as his confidant and best man, I knew how things went then lol.


Today he is a rich guy and the dream of every woman no jokes. When we sit and discuss our past we just laugh.


Of recent we were talking about how difficult it is for guys to find wife now, cos we have some guys we know, younger guys like inlaws who are financially buoyant, single and confused on who to marry cos they are complaining that to find a worthy lady to marry now is hard and I was arguing with my guy that it's not true that there are excellent ladies and he was telling me that I don't know what I am saying that we were lucky in our time that it's hard today, that if I know any worthy lady I should recommend for one of his BILs doing very well and living abroad though, that the guy don tire.


So as ladies are complaining, guys too are, but what I know is if one truly want to find a worthy life partner, u must let down some of your overly high expectations and face reality, make some compromise and then seek for God's backing, if not, if we continue to insist we must find out 100% taste before we say I do, in fact most people wont ever find a spouse till they die because that your high taste guy u want may not want someone like u or he may find u to be below his own standard and taste, that is where being realistic and making some compromise helps

Go and read my posts well. Marriageability is vast. Most of her age bracket as at the time she got married were already expecting their grandchildren. Something must have changed in her to make her marriageable. Either she put a hold on her career lady lifestyle or she plugged loop holes. Ngozi Okonjo iweala got married at the age of 17 and is still married! Late Dora Akunyili who use to personally serve her husband like a common maid, even as a Nafdac DG, got married at 24! They were well read! Popular, rich and were still not feminists! You can never argue it and win. A homely lady who knows the routes to a man's heart is doing nothing in her father's house at 30! Those who correct their defects on time while the marriage window is still open gets married and those who do not care stay like that till regrets set in. The western ladies you copy their culture has the highest number of baby mamas and single ladies in their 30s, 40s and 50s. When you calm down and study how the world works, the world will work for you.

Someone will now see the 43 year old and say time and chance happened to her, lol. Ladies want to keep their nauseating character and also at the same time keep a man, it hardly works!
