You do realize that name calling doesn't automatically solve your problem right?

Your core issue is that you're either too stubborn to read or too d***m*b to comprehend.

Name calling doesn't help you with either of those.

Plus when you make d***um*b investment decisions based on your foo***l:sh...ness, it's only your portfolio that suffers it. Name calling won't pull you out of losses, having se:n*se would.
I guess the J actually stands for juvenile..
Why the rant?

As someone that already have a stock broking account I like this NGX portal for offers.

https://www.invest.ngxgroup.com/

I have used them for past offers like First Bank etc. I can see Dangote refinery is there if I want to buy. Not all offers are featured here though. The last Chams rights wasn't offered through this NGX platform. Guess this is one of the ways NGX corners extra cash/profits.

Just for your information.

Looking at SEPLAT audited annual reports in NGN and translating to USD, the shareholder funds have not grown that extraordinarily if one compares 2014 financials with 2025. And the IPO I guess was not at a high multiple like x4. This devaluation is creating some illusions and the market looks over priced for oil related stocks.

emmanuelewumi:
What happened to Aradel and Seplat when they were initially listed.

Dangote Refinery shares will also come down to N300, after that it will climb to N400 and then stabilize

Good strategy. Lets focus on other things

ghm:
I have subscribed to the Dangote Refinery (DR) IPO – so that I can remove myself from the pros and cons noise as quickly as possible.

Now:

Are there opportunities (outside DR) in the market currently? Any catalysts on the horizon?
Any specific strategy to prepare for FTSE Frontier inclusion on the 21st?

Great! That is the same way fortunes will smile on you when you start collecting big dividends and capital appreciation.
Seplat was N500 some years back. How did it get to N14k+ in our face in the same stock market?
Na here we dey, DR shares will clock N2000+ in few years to come.
Let's wait until 1.4m barrels capacity is completed and listed on US stock exchange

Do they even have any problem getting uptakers for their production? I don't think so.
The only news that will work for OANDO must have to do with their financial restructuring.

Wait until the next AGM of Dangote Refinery. The venue will definitely be at Tafawa Balewa Square. With helicopters and drones for Crowd Control.

So if they hit 1.4m barrel. The numbers will become magical with OS of 125 billion
A company OS is very important in any company you are holding. If not so you will always be disappointed at their full yr results. Have you considered share reconstruction in the future for any PO

You are right.
But such deal may involve Dangote providing some payment/credit as commitment or consideration to seal the deal (i.e. liquidity for Oando).
And, you know what the name ''Dangote'' could do in NGX grin grin grin

Your concern is valid.
But the whole 125billion shares will NOT be available to traders. Only a maximum of about 4billion shares would be available.
The distribution of the shareholdings is key. Alhaji, NNPC, Institutional investors and high net-worth individuals will still hold about 97%+

Even in the IPO, out of 4.1billion shares, a foreign entity is already bidding to buy 1 billion units ($400,000,000 about N528b).
If they do share reconstruction at the right price and the results are good it may favour shareholders.
But all these are just some perspective; nothing is cast in stone

It's not 1 for 10. It's 1 bonus share regardless of the volume you hold from 10 and above.

1 bonus share for 12-month holding
A second bonus share if you continue holding for a total of 24 months.

So whether you hold 10 or 10,000, you get 1 share bonus so long you're a retail investor.

You saying 1 for 10 would make someone holding 10,000 units expect a bonus of 1000 shares, that's wrong, such a person only gets 1 share.
So if one buys 100 but sells 90 later on and holds 10 for two years, he gets it?

Yes. If you sell and your holding falls below 10 shares, you lose eligibility for the bonus share. You must hold at least 10 shares continuously for the period.

If you buy 10 or 100 or 10,000 or 1 million, you still only get one bonus share after year one and one after year two – capped at two shares total.

The incentive is not impressive. It only makes sense for people buying the minimum 10 shares. If you're buying more than 20, just ignore it completely and run your own portfolio – buy, sell, or hold on your terms. IMO

why did you answer "no"? even though you gave the correct explanation. His question is based of if he holds 10 shares.
