Despite the low share price of Regency Alliance Insurance Plc, the company's underlying fundamentals tell a completely different story. Because its balance sheet is now massively shored up to absorb highly lucrative corporate risks (like aviation and oil/gas underwriting), some Analysts have maintained a long-term "Strong Buy" rating on REGALINS, forecasting a Target Price of ₦1.14, an upside from it's Current Price of N0.75. |

crownprince2017:Thanks for the update. It makes no sense buying from the importers when I can buy from the manufacturers. In buying and selling, the buyer wants to buy at the lowest possible price, the seller wants to sell at the highest possible price. There is a point they meet. This is Economics 101. It is this same reason that we are all in NGX. Trading........ ![]() Lesson learnt: In today's economy you must not waste resources |

pluto09:This is how the stock market crash starts..... Some people here have predicted dangote Refinery crashing the ngx this year.... While unleveraged equity investments carry inherent market risk, injecting bank-financed retail leverage into an IPO introduces distinct structural risks for the Nigerian Exchange (NGX): - Historical Precedent (The 2008 Echo): Aggressive margin and personal lending to retail investors for stock speculation was the single largest driver of the 2007–2008 NGX market crash, which resulted in widespread bank non-performing loans (NPLs) and necessitated the creation of AMCON. - High-Interest Rate Trap: With Nigerian commercial bank loan rates above 25–30%, post-listing equity performance must yield extraordinary capital gains simply for investors to break even on debt service. - Forced Liquidation Pressure: If the stock underperforms or experiences post-listing profit-taking, debt-burdened retail investors will be forced to sell rapidly to service their loans, triggering sharp downside price slippage. - Artificial Demand Distortion: Broad access to N30m personal loans creates artificial over-subscription and inflated demand, driving initial pricing away from fundamental market valuations. |

📊 AVACAP — TECHNICAL ANALYSIS AVACAP closed at ₦4.90 on Friday, reclaiming the ₦4.70 level with exceptionally strong volume of about 54.87M shares. 🔑 KEY LEVELS • ₦4.70 — Key breakout/confirmation level • ₦5.00 — Immediate psychological resistance • ₦5.10 — Major near-term resistance • ₦4.45 — Immediate support • ₦4.20 — Secondary support 📈 WHAT THE CHART IS SAYING The most interesting signal is the combination of price recovery + volume expansion. AVACAP opened at ₦4.70, dipped as low as ₦4.45, but buyers absorbed the selling pressure and pushed the stock to a ₦4.90 close. Volume exploded to approximately 54.87M shares, compared with about 7.33M the previous session. That shows significant market participation around the ₦4.45–₦4.70 area. 🎯 BULLISH SCENARIO If AVACAP can hold above ₦4.70 and subsequently break ₦5.00–₦5.10 with strong volume, the technical structure could strengthen considerably. The next area to watch after a confirmed break is ₦5.50, followed by the possibility of a larger recovery if momentum continues. ⚠️ RISK LEVEL A failure to hold ₦4.70 would weaken the breakout structure. In that case, ₦4.45 becomes the first important downside level, followed by ₦4.20. My technical takeaway: AVACAP is showing a strong recovery attempt with unusually high volume. The battle is now around ₦4.70–₦5.00. Volume confirmation and price acceptance above these levels will be important. ₦4.70 = KEY LEVEL 🔑 ₦5.00–₦5.10 = BREAKOUT ZONE 🚀 ₦4.45 = SUPPORT 🛡️ Technical analysis only. Not financial advice. Always do your own research. #AVACAP #NGX #TechnicalAnalysis #Stocks #NigeriaStocks
