megawealth01:Sir, this is pure evil. Is it not better to invest in MMM (Ponzi scheme) and be at peace incase anything negative happens? Why give license to any company that will not fit to be in the market, thereby endangering the funds of investors in such companies? And when the government decides to shut down such companies, the only wicked way they can go about it is to shut down the company with the fund of INNOCENT investors. If the government doesn’t give these companies License to operate, investors wouldn’t had invested in them. |

newreality:My advice is, if possible, visit your stockbroker / Issuing House and do the IPO online application in their office or call them so they could guide you and avoid issues or errors. This is the first time an IPO is being done online and there could be challlenges or errors that could prove very costly at the end of the exercise. And always make sure you print and keep a copy of your application form and means of payment |

ZENITH did more than 6B units yesterday, and it has done over 7B units today already. I think the institutional investors are at work. The FPIs may have started deploying their war chests as well. |

megawealth01:Based on this research, it means that Dangote Refinery IPO will skyrocket in a long term basis. Since I didn't participate in all the listed. I won't miss this offer. Even if it is just 100 units. Lesson learnt: Long term holding is key to investment. |

announcement:If the investor wasn't ignorant or comfortable with the risks involved, he wouldn't have invested in such companies. Such investors should learn their lessons, look well before they leap next time, educate themselves thoroughly about stock investing instead of doing it blindly or gambling with what they don't understand. They may also just hand their funds over to licensed professional managers. |

announcement:You are being sentimental.by calling it evil. Businesses fail everywhere. Billionaires all over the world file for bankruptcy. When the winds of life come against an individual or a business Omoh, WHO have not discovered a vaccine for that oo. |

Today is another mpc meeting, our local numbers suggest cut, usa numbers suggest hike, I expect cbn to hold rate to keep FPI happy n hope usa doesn't hike. Do I think Nigeria can withstand usa hike currently, hmmm that would be an interesting adventure, our reserve would be put to serious test for the first time in cardoso era if that event cristalize. What a scary potential set up..😎😎 CBN hold + Fed hike = the real stress test. |

Pete002:Normaly, the ordinary share holders of a company are the last to be paid. If the creditors, workers and other cartegories have been settled and there's anything left, it will be for the shareholders even if it more than the value of the share as at close down. They are the real owner that risked their money to invest in the business. But their liabilities are limited to the money invested. A debtor to the company can be pursued or discounted (sold) but the share holders cannot be held liable for the debt of the the company. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by megawealth01: 12:01pm On Sep 22 |
It does not necessarily mean investors will get nothing; after all debts and obligations are paid, any remaining assets or funds can still be distributed to shareholders. However, if the company’s liabilities consume all its assets, shareholders may receive little or nothing. Pete002: |
