NNPC demands profitable refineries, explains Dangote crude supply

https://punchng.com/nnpc-demands-profitable-refineries-explains-dangote-crude-supply/

NNPC still doesn't know how to make it's refineries profitable. I think there is a game at play here.
Ojulari says investors (Chinese I think) will get a stake

Don't do it.

Submitting multiple applications for the same Initial Public Offering (IPO) under the same identity will result in the total rejection and disqualification of all your bids.

Theoretically speaking, you are 100% correct!
But does it really happen that way in reality? Do they apply the rule strictly as you put it?
Do they centralize the processing for all the applications or they process them according to each broker/issuing house?

I guess it could be cumbersome to refund all the numerous investors that do multiple applications

Anything Stanbic is mostly reliable.
Forget that they don't make noise themselves here and there for media attention.

🔥 CRITICAL MINERALS RALLY — JAPAULGOLD ON THE RADAR?

CMFC’s powerful rally is putting mining stocks back on investors’ radar.

And naturally, eyes may start shifting toward JAPAULGOLD — a listed Nigerian mining play with its own gold-development story.

📌 CMFC rally → Mining sector attention → Investors screen JAPAULGOLD

Now the real question is:

Will watchlist interest turn into volume and sustained buying? 👀

JAPAULGOLD remains one to WATCH. ⛏️🥇

Loco is watching the volume. 📊

Even though they sometimes write it on the prospectus, I don't believe it's true. The Initiates too said this...but I ended up buying their PO there times over one month as funds became available.I got all my subscriptions.

Depends on how the subscription went.

It is not first come, first served.

Allotment starts after the IPO closes
Dangote said he will prioritize small subscribers. 1,000 units and below.

What is his business with the creative industry?
That is the point we were making earlier about the leadership of Oando.

There have been several industry events in the last few weeks, and the who-is-who in the oil industry are present—from International Oil Companies like Shell, ExxonMobil, Total, and Chevron, to Seplat, Aradel, Renaissance Energy, NLNG, and several other indigenous oil companies.

There is no notable presence of Oando, despite the large reserves they own.

The same thing will happen to deals. Notable money will flow to where the technical expertise is. Simple.

Aha.....A-ha....
Na now I know why our forward crudeoil contract no dey end.

So most of all these refinery rehabilitations wey enter voice-mail , na our crude-oil we use pay upfront..

They are planning to raise funds very soon. The AGM held a few months ago.
I just hope it goes back to N10+ like it did not long ago.

@Megawealth01 recommended it when it was about N1 or less

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by mikeapollo: 12:41pm On Sep 30
OBAGADAFFI:

I was informed that they only tabulate the total subscriptions per each stockbroker/issuing house and classify them into different ranges of units applied for e.g. 10-1000; 1010-2000; 2010-5000; 5010-10,000 etc.

Hence, if all the applications are not consolidated (possibly into a large single data file) for a programme/algorithm to run and find duplicate names, it might be difficult to detect and reject them.
