None of the above. That side mirror is fake.

C is near correct, not absolutely.
It replicates the electronic devices on modern mirrors that monitors proximity.

A driver needs to be able to see and guage distance and speed, that is proximity of on coming or surrounding vehicles.

So you need a reference, that is your vehicle in the same picture as others so that you understand clearly the situation.

In some high end vehicles these mirrors move with the steering so that you can observe on coming traffic particularly if entering or exiting angular ramps Abuja roads are notorious for.

The trick is to find the wrongest view as this view here is from the passenger's view. Whereas from the driver's view, the angle would be wrong.

So, B is the correct one because that is the view the driver needs to see the back and side.
Did you notice where the other vehicles were overtaking from? Your angle interpretation is wrong.

Alright Boss, Thanks

I guess C is what we use over here in Nigeria, because 99% of us here learnt how to drive in an open soccer field. Majority of the driving schools here in Nigeria are not functional again.

Even while I was in the U.K I never for once attempted learning how to drive because of time, financial cost and their useless final exam that is not difficult but you will still fail even if you have been driving cars for 100 years.

God bless you

May God bless us
I also learnt to drive in Nigeria but when I got here I failed my first CBT and got it the second time failed my behind the wheel test first time as well but got it the second time 😂.

You see D you need to cover every object at your blind spot (especially if u are a truck driver) because once you pull out on the other lane and failed to cover every object behind. Catastrophic damage that will lead to human life is bound to happen. So it’s D for me any day.

The question i should have asked is which mirror is this? Is it the left mirror or the right mirror?

The question is in the title of the thread.
"Only Experienced Drivers Will Get This Right. Which Mirror Is Correct?"

And again, you write something that further proves you have never driven a car.
It's ok. Just no need to flex as if you have.
If you yourself drive a car, why did you not answer which mirror it is? Whether it is the left mirror or the right mirror? But alaye, dodged it.

It can be any mirror, the left or right, on any type of road, single, double or triple lane roadway, in any country where there is left or right side drive.

That is not the issue and not the question. The question is the mirror position.

Re: Only Experienced Drivers Will Get This Right. Which Mirror Is Correct? (Photo) by bamisile659: 8:05am On Oct 08
Here is a breakdown of why:
C (Correct): It shows just a tiny sliver of your own vehicle on the inner edge. This provides a spatial reference point so you know exactly where other cars are in relation to yours, while maximizing your view of the adjacent lane to minimize blind spots. The horizon is also positioned comfortably near the middle.
A (Incorrect): It shows way too much of your own car. This wastes mirror space and creates a larger blind spot in the adjacent lane.
B (Incorrect): The mirror is angled too far down and inward, showing mostly the ground and the car's door handle.
D (Incorrect): The mirror is angled too far outward. While it eliminates the blind spot, the lack of your own car as a visual reference point makes it difficult to quickly judge the distance and speed of other vehicles relative to your own.

C is the correct one.
The bottom edge of ur mirror must align with the handle of the door.

Also while in that position, u must use ur eye to draw a vertical line to divide ur mirror into two parts, when u can see a car behind you at the inner end of the mirrow, it's safe to overtake the car in front of u, when it's at the outer end, don't overtake.

With the aid of center mirror too

So with those two cars, if u try to overtake the car in front of u, u will collide with the green car cos it's at the outer end

You are just dodging because you can now see that you are wrong because it depends on whether this is the right mirror or the left mirror. And clearly, this is not the inner mirror. So it must be one of the mirrors outside which is either the right mirror or the left mirror. But you chose to dodge answering the question

It cannot be any of the 2 mirrors. The right mirror is always on the right side of the vehicle and the left mirror is always on the left side.

So, if you want to truly answer the questions you can tell us which mirror is this in thread? Is it the left mirror or the right mirror?

The camera angle cam make a left mirror look right and a right mirror look left
You can't say with certainty which one this is
Have you ever heard of lateral inversion

Not possible!
Even this camera is showing which position the mirror is pointing which tells us which mirror it is on the vehicle.

The positions of the mirror in a car are permanently fixed, so a camera can never change them

do you drive or you are just guessing? It's c. You should be able to see the rear of your car and a wide view of the road behind.
