Your research is very correct, reddit gives u alot of clue, also u can checkout people who finished from there and experience on linkedin, and u notice most leave the city afterward also cos of cos , Nottingham is better by miles with opportunities as a student and even afterward, its a larger city with more businesses just that Huddersfield is cheaper, yes it true hudderfield is close to Leeds and Manchester. But remember that concern should be after u done with school expect u do not mind taking train to those places as a student if that is a corn at the immediate, again pray abt it and consider other things not said, all d best sir

Apply for your reference/recommendation letter on the NOUN Transcript Portal. Provide the school details (name and address), but input your email in the recipient's email section.

They will process and send it to your email within a week.

Omo! Rejection mail na water for my side o. I have been rejected by 3 or 4 schools because I do not meet up their entry requirements. Imagine having HND in Business Administration with Distinction and I have to suffer like this. I'll not back down. Come January 2027, I'll quote this my message with a congratulations visa approval. I said it first.
but I got admission with my HND in Biz admin too. I love your fate...God will do it for you.

Earlier this year, I told God that I don't want spend Christmas in Nigeria and he did it for me.

BTW, is there anyone in Stratford or any part of East London and you need a job, just quote me. My boss is into event planning and she asked me to get more hands for her. Rate is minimum wage

I have been following silently, but I finally feel the need to share my experience because I am truly devastated and unsure of what to do next.

I applied for a UK Student visa and completed my biometrics on 21 August. On 11 September, I received a request to provide additional documents covering what I had been doing from 2019 to 2026. I worked hard to gather the required documents and submitted them three days later.

Interestingly, I received an email on 5 September inviting me for a visa interview on 6 September. I attended the interview as requested, hoping for a positive outcome. Unfortunately, yesterday, I received the heartbreaking news that my visa application had been refused.

The reasons given were that my explanation for choosing my programme was too generic, that my reasons for choosing the UK were insufficient, and that I had not demonstrated adequate research into other countries before deciding to study in the UK.

I have been devastated since receiving the decision. I keep wondering whether I have any realistic chance of succeeding with an Administrative Review or whether I should begin considering other options.

What makes the situation even more painful is the financial commitment I have made to the University of Hull. I paid a total of £10,400 towards my tuition fees, comprising a £10,000 deposit and an additional £400. While reading the university's tuition deposit refund policy, I came across a provision stating that applicants whose visas are refused on credibility grounds following an interview may not be eligible for a refund unless the refusal is overturned through a successful Administrative Review.

The thought of losing such a significant amount of money is frightening. It is money I invested in my future, and I do not know whether there is any way I can recover it. I have also been informed that the university does not defer admission in cases of visa refusal, which has left me feeling even more helpless.

Beyond my studies and the financial loss, this situation is especially difficult because my spouse is currently in the UK pursuing a master's degree in social work and is expected to complete the program next year July. I had hoped that my own studies would bring me closer to my spouse and allow us to move forward with our plans together.

Right now, I feel overwhelmed, disappointed and uncertain about the future. I do not know whether to pursue an Administrative Review, appeal to the university regarding my tuition deposit, or explore other immigration options.

I would sincerely appreciate advice from anyone who has experienced a similar situation or has a good understanding of UK Student visa refusals, Administrative Reviews and university tuition deposit refunds.

Has anyone successfully overturned a refusal based on credibility concerns following a visa interview? Has anyone in a similar situation managed to recover their tuition deposit from the University of Hull?

I am trying to remain hopeful, but this experience has taken a serious emotional and financial toll on me. Any genuine advice, guidance or shared experience would mean a lot to me at this point.

This is really heartbreaking, I graduated from the Uni of Hull and I have also been reading about the strict refund policy for new set of students.

It's not over until it's over, since u av ur partner in the UK, she might be in the best position to help u contact an immigration lawyer for administrative review. Also mail university of Hull directly to seek their guidance on your particular case and the support they can offer.

And the last option - might be funny but it might work, which is to raise it with ur bank to dispute the transaction and ask for refund cus that's alot of money, even if u mention that amount to a Brits, they will definitely scream and tell u that it's alot of money.

Goodluck!

In addition, everyone should read refund policy before school fees payment. If they can't refund u if anything goes wrong then they should not be collecting the money in the first place - afterall, getting a visa is never guaranteed.

Please from recent experiences, does UK still give visa to dependents of research-based masters degree study visa holders?

Good day house
My CAS request was just rejected by University of Salford and the reasons they gave is because I declared I has a previous student visa denied by Spain in 2025. I want to ask if anyone has experienced this before as i want to appeal but they are nor giving any room for reconsideration. I'll appreciate any advise

Apply to another school/multiple schools, they rejected ur CAS request cus they believe the Home Office won't grant u visa and if they issue u CAS and Home Office denies u visa there is a way it affects them also and they might even loose their license if they keeps giving people who are not likely to be granted visa CAS.

If possible add a cover note in future application to explain what led to ur Spain visa approval and how ur circumstances has changed for better.

Thank you for the response boss, someone told me about that policy just now about them losing their license. I was wondering if I made a mistake by declaring my previous Visa Refusal because my passport wasn't stamped and I only declared because I read it here that it's better to declare.

Applying for another school now might be too late for January intake, I started this process since January 😔

The Spain student visa is another crazy story on its own because the Spanish Consulate rejected almost every one that apply giving us the same generic reason, my eye see shege for that thread. I'll prefer not to disclose it altogether because they reason the consular general gave wasn't justified. I just hope Salford can reconsider this decision, I have invested heavily in this process.

That's the reason for administrative review, never allow any country spoil ur immigration history, if u are not satisfied with a decision try as much as possible to fight it.

You need to declare cus Spain is an EU country, I am sure they share information. Even if ur visa is not stamped it will definitely be in their database that u av applied for visa at some point and got denied.
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 9 by vibrant99(m): 4:39pm On Oct 14
Why would you even declare a Spanish visa rejection, even at the Embassy level?

The UK doesn't see your Schengen rejection anymore because it is no longer in the EU.

The only threat is refusal of a UK visa application for Ireland, which comes up immediately after your application is entered in the UKVI.

The other search must be initiated, and this is called a DEEP SEARCH!

If your application is straightforward, there is no need for a deep search, unless something is amiss.

There was a NO-NEED declaring SPAIN denial.

NO SIR,

100% NO NEED.

UK is not in THE EU and currently doesn't have access to that situation of his rejection unless under critical search and that often rare.
Dey play...when it comes to immigration all Western countries share information, they call it something aliance, ur international passport details automatically pull up/reveal ur life record and immigration history in any western country and each country u av ever applied to have to log ur activities including visa refusal, this is an open secret.

Jist ask for refund and send them your refusal letter. They will refund tou as long as you did not use fake document or deception. Forget that credibilty you are talking about. That is a discretion of the visa officer not to grant you the visa not your own fault. Pls dont he too late to ask for refund even if you want to reapply get your money back first and they dedcut admin charges
