Why would you even declare a Spanish visa rejection, even at the Embassy level?

The UK doesn't see your Schengen rejection anymore because it is no longer in the EU.

The only threat is refusal of a UK visa application for Ireland, which comes up immediately after your application is entered in the UKVI.

The other search must be initiated, and this is called a DEEP SEARCH!

If your application is straightforward, there is no need for a deep search, unless something is amiss.

There was a NO-NEED declaring SPAIN denial.
Honestly I seriously regret that decision right now, I didn't want to declare cause I saw no need, my agent insisted and she was the one that submitted the application.

My colleague that went this January had a previous Canada visa refused and he said he didn't declare it, my friend also has same experience with Canada but didn't declare it to UKVI and got his Visa without issues.

I haven't been in the best of moods since last night as I got a refusal mail for my Student Visa, from UKVI yesterday, Even though I have accepted my fate and trying to move on, I still feel cheated by UKVI.

I applied in December for January intake but I had to withdraw my visa application in February due to approaching Cas deadline. And now I deferred to September intake

Biometrics - 23rd June
Refusal mail- 2nd of July
Reason for refusal: incorrect bank statement calculation. So the visa officer didn't deduct my global scholarship of £3,000 from my POF, he only removed my tuition deposit and my required funds was below the minimum due to that error. I already applied for an administrative review today and l'd keep you guys updated

UPDATE:
ADMINISTRATIVE REVIEW APPLICATION- 3rd July
ADMINISTRATIVE REVIEW SUCCESS - 17th July
My application was sent back to the original case working team for reconsideration…. I waited for almost 2 months

UKVI CONTACT TO SCHOOL- 9th September
Ukvi asked if my school was still willing to sponsor me for the September intake and my university confirmed this with me

17th september, my school resumed. Still no response from ukvi. Deadline was October 16th
25th September- I submitted a pre action protocol to UKvi due to the delay and the risk of losing my place …. I gave them until 5th October to respond

29TH SEPTEMBER - Interview inviteI was told they would love to conduct an interview on October 6th. I was scared because my undergraduate degree was similar to
My master’s programme.

OCTOBER 6th: i had my interview…. With a young British lady. She was polite and didn’t interrupt me while speaking. Interview lasted more than an hour

OCTOBER 9th- VISA APPROVAL.

To everyone else waiting wishing you the best of luck
Bro I think you can apply for an administrative review and clearly state this point, the refusal may be overturned.

Bro I just read the part you said you did an administrative review.

This people can be very funny sha
They deliberately delayed it and looked for a reason to still deny it.

Jist ask for refund and send them your refusal letter. They will refund tou as long as you did not use fake document or deception. Forget that credibilty you are talking about. That is a discretion of the visa officer not to grant you the visa not your own fault. Pls dont he too late to ask for refund even if you want to reapply get your money back first and they dedcut admin charges
They only refunded £6400 and stated that £4000 is non-refundable as it is stated on their website 😢

Dey play...when it comes to immigration all Western countries share information, they call it something aliance, ur international passport details automatically pull up/reveal ur life record and immigration history in any western country and each country u av ever applied to have to log ur activities including visa refusal, this is an open secret.

Good day house
My CAS request was just rejected by University of Salford and the reasons they gave is because I declared I has a previous student visa denied by Spain in 2025. I want to ask if anyone has experienced this before as i want to appeal but they are nor giving any room for reconsideration. I'll appreciate any advise
So Sorry about that, At the point where you were applying to the school, didnt they request for details of the refusal before issuing a conditional offer?

That was then now, there are a lot of scrutiny now, if one does not delcare a previous refusal and ukvi rejects the person for it, thats deposit gone with any school the person applied to. So its not worth the risk, even schools now are carrying out extra check, if they find out the person has a previous refusal, its deposit gone. its not worth the risk, declare it and hope for the best. days of withholding it has past, not in this current immigration atmosphere where its not as easy as it used to be.

Thank you for this! People often underestimate how risky migrant from third world countries are, like u are coming from a country with Boko Haram, ISIS, Bandits and the likes - meanwhile they also know how dishonest we are so they are not even expecting u to say the truth that's why there are extra checks which includes enhanved immigration history checks to make sure u won't be a terror in their country.

Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 9 by vibrant99(m): 12:45pm On Oct 15
Not as simple as you think it is , Its the persons who handle you application and they have more experience than themselves ...

Younger Caseworkers are more intensive and still have been very deep in exerting their knowledge or training beforehand, and it is visible in the way they take decisions...

The older and more experienced work a little flexibly and allow some loopholes here and there, with projection on the purpose rather than the description.

A case worker who is experienced may see an application with a strong 2.1 CGPA and who has a master's admission in a program that would further help the applicant grow and knows the input of that degree into what they already have may ignore home ties and even finance to grant the visa ...

when a visa is rejected most of the time, the next caseworker is a more experienced person that handles it and thats why you noticed that most second or third application is successful.

Deep search of information is mostly by unexperineced or flagged applicant through their initial application form.

The application is not even done by one person because it goes through stages of review, at least 2 people.

So for declaring refusals

CANADA refusal--- Declear in US visa

UK visa refusal ---- Declear Ireland Visa

Schengen refusal---- declare all in schengen

Australia refusal------ declear New Zealand.

I don’t know if you are aware that Canada, US, UK, Australia, New Zealand share immigration information. If you choose not to declare they can pull your refusal out at an instant. While you might be lucky to not declare other countries. The application might be stuck in additional checks for a long time while they look to gather more info. Like he stated, coming from a high risk country, don’t risk your tuition deposit by hiding a previous refusal. It’s not worth it. A previous refusal is not a dea*th sentence. Honesty is what helps you scale through.

You need to stop misleading people here. I'm worried that you will lead people here to visa refusal. It will take the embassy nothing to find out that an applicant has a family member in the UK, avoid encourage people like lie on their visa application because the consequences can be very costly
