Mr 'As seen on the internet", when are you going to get tired? Over 20 of your previous post on this thread, apart from this one I quoted, are all about politics. If you have mega time on your hands, why not go and join your mates on the political section of Nairaland to ply your trade there?

You claim to be iNY, yet by 2am EST, you are already active here.

As Capital and Financial asset managers, isn't it normal that investors funds be domiciled with them for various trading activities?
Does Pension Funds Admins use their funds majorly to transact businesses?
Yet they're doing just fine.

* AVA business is similar to that of UCAP, and yes, they're still evolving.....
With good management and cost efficiency, AVA will continue to do well and deliver.

* As for Loco, no offence taking at all....
I just hope he'll be able to wait it out to reap bountifully from it 😊
Thank you Mercy.
Because of Dangote Refinery listing and unfavourable political condition of our country,I will alight the train of Avacap once it hits N10.I know this Ava will be heading to N15 if there is no market crash by January.
If I can do 4.70 to 10,this is good for me.
I am enjoying this your stock wella. You are the one that made me look at it.You get eyes but na floor price you never sabi.
I also urge you to go and learn TA.You are good to go.

I disagree. The naira is not on free float.
what we have is cbn managed float or system float. The naira has no reason to still be on 1350 at this time with what is presently on ground. The Dangote refinery was enough to bring naira down to 1k or below. This government is the one holding it at 1300 and above. So you can not call it free float
If all you have done is refuse to sell your dollar while not restricting anyone else and you are selling to the highest bidder when you want to sell, it is still free float

Yes you're right...
But you know these movements can be a two way thing sometimes depending on the time of listing, the sentiments that surrounds it and some few other factors such as the financials and sector it belongs.......
Well you've done well to pick at bottom price, hopefully some goodies may come by year end..... especially if they're coming to raise capital sooner.

The client invested funds should not be what makes up majorly thr assets. It should be shareholders funds. That is what I saw here though didn't dig deep

Nah, old story. Niger and Nigeria have made amends since around early 2025 or sometime in 2024 even. Nigeria even had to supply them fuel at a time. That cannot be a major cause of the current food inflation.

Nonsense talk.
The West is not like Africa? So, they non de sleep for West, nature non de affect human being for there. Na only you don travel abroad. Na people like this one go visit their village go de drop lamba about life in the city or abroad, both real and imaginary.

You non get any madam wen go totori around that time so that you go make you enter bed? Except you are on night duty, every normal human being is in bed at 2am; occasionally they may not be, but yours is every day.

Non be only West, na North.

How can a human being in a supposedly civilized world spend hours upon hours talking politics on an investment thread? Jeez.

Meanwhile, Mr Conjunvitis is busy twisting logic on its head and then turning around to claim, 'ayam not supporting anybody'

One Odeku for you, sir! #DarkIsComing

Wanton generalization doesn't really make for a meaning discussion. Be specific, add context and tell us something we can interrogate intellectually. That is how to improve the quality of our public discussion in a way that can uplift the country.

GeneralDae:
I had to break down what I have been trying to explain. Rather than just saying Nigerians are hungry, one can say: Nigerians are hungry because this Government removed subsidy and did not share rice to ease our pains. That’s a better policy argument one can analyze properly than just: “Nigerians are suffering” or “we are hungry”.

Willie2015:
The central issue is not whether Airtel is investing in Nigeria;

Airtel investment is not an answer to the immediate cost-of-living crisis.

It is whether the government adequately prepared Nigerians for the consequences of removing fuel subsidy.

if the government knew subsidy removal would raise transport and production costs,

Why wasn't a fully funded, transparent and effective relief programme operating before the policy took effect?

Just imagine the conversion of only 120,000 vehicles to CNG in more than three years, against an estimated 14 million vehicles on Nigerian roads.

Thats absolute failure ....Under 1 percent. ,,and u want us to be clapping of BAT grin cheesy
Airtel investment is not an answer to the immediate cost-of-living crisis.
Why not? More jobs and FDI’s like these equals increased purchasing power over time. Right or Wrong?

It is whether the government adequately prepared Nigerians for the consequences of removing fuel subsidy.
What in heaven’s name did you guys think removal of fuel subsidy was?

How would he prepare the masses? Buhari first announced removal of subsidy in January 2022 but later changed his mind promising to prepare Nigerians over an 18 month period with stuff like CNG but nothing much materialised and the Buhari Government in 2022 was contemplating using Eurobonds for continuation of the subsidy. So there was already an 18 month head start and no budget for subsidy beyond the 18 months which was to end in June 2023. If Tinubu continued beyond June all in the name of preparing Nigerians, he would never remove the subsidy. Let’s not deceive ourselves.

As for CNG conversion, the Government doesn’t need to target millions of vehicles. Just make the program easy enough for private investors to invest in, build the infrastructure and subsidize CNG conversion only for transport vehicles travelling between states and regions like trucks and the likes so that food transport is affected by it.

We worked from our Pretoria offices today....
It's a Sunny day and I have been reviewing codes all day...

The beauty of being a Technology Entrepreneur is that you are NEVER out of a job...
You are constantly BUILDING...

A young guy here made a comment last week. He said "you keep saying that you are building but we don't see what you have built". I checked his profile and saw he recently posted his company's bank account number. I laughed when I discovered that the Bank he posted is one of our clients 😆. I just shook my head.
In fact, someone who bears my surname and lives under my roof is still consulting for the bank at the highest level.

If we didn't publicly post the testimonial from Uganda, many wouldn't know our past cybersecurity engagements with East African Governments. From some Presidencies to many Government Security services, we have provided cybersecurity services from Southern to Eastern Africa.

In fact, I refused to post the Ugandan testimonial until our then Head of Partnerships, Tomaso prevailed on me to start sharing testimonials of our past projects.
For me, I don't trust social media people so I keep my clients off social media. The hatred and jealousy here is on another level. So I usually post what I believe is safe to be made public and keep our core business off social media. Guess what? They still attack the little things we share on social media. Check how they have attacked $THC. I laugh because whatever I share on Facebook does NOT pay my bills. Some even think I have interest in Nigerian Security Guards business lol. So they attacked NPSC thinking I was coming into the Private Security industry. I have no interest in that sector. How much does security guard business make that I'll spend my energy on? My current competitor is doing 65 Billion Dollars in a Year in volumes... why do you think I want to play in Nigerian Security business? Lol. The industries I play in are outside the league of an average Nigerian. Have you ever seen me dragging any market with anyone? I learnt from Dangote - he builds what only few can build and enjoy monopoly. If you are Nigerian, stay away from unnecessary competition. Build something difficult and enjoy peace. Nigerians hate building anything difficult and complex. They run away from complex problems. That's my advantage.

Well, its a sunny day and I am serving pictures with a little bit of VAWULENCE 🔥 😆. I know one bitter fellow dey one side dey frown at this post 😆. Na Wike and him Pikin fit una. Some Nigerians on Facebook have made this space unnecessarily hateful - the pull him down syndrome we see here is just nauseating. If you are one of such people, please get a life and start BUILDING SOMETHING WORTH LIVING FOR. Will your children inherit DRAGGING when you di£? Lol . Focus on your life oh. Many of us are focusing on ours and building without ceasing.

We all are expected to be mature adults,
How someone spends his/her day, whether here on NSEMPA or on other platforms cannot be discussed or challenged here. People have different schedules based on their life style, work, projects or assignments, weather condition of their geographical location, access to the internet etc.
People come here only when they have the time.

For almost 2 weeks, Mega was not posting here at all and some people thought he had been banned.

A decade experience should at least shape one's investing lifestyle provided there's reasonable fund commitment.

Even you, GeneralDae, ghm and co, what is so hard to go to the political section to ply your trade?

Many people felt relief during those 2 weeks he was absent; I want to believe.

How can grown-up folks just struggle to obey simple rules?

To answer your question directly, the owner of Nairaland created different sections so that it is easy for people of like minds and interests to stay in their section and discuss.

Financial economy and political economy are inseparable. Tell that to the ''owner''
The president appoints ministers, DGs of ministries, departments, agencies etc, including CBN, NGX and SEC.
Their policies determine what happens to the FX market, exchange rate, inflation, purchasing power, interest rate, treasury bills rates, share price movements, NGX etc.
Those policies are what we discuss!

Let me now school you a bit. Whether this forum is faceless or not, it is totally uncouth to be broke shaming people. Money isn't virtue.
Then you can't be more than my former employees in both age and net worth. I also have very high net worth people as family and friend. As at 2009 I had like 15 people in my employ and I was under 30.
In Nigeria where senior civil servants with kids in the university are paid less than 4 k dollars a year, someone in Ilesa living alone in a big house spending 800 dollars per annum isn't poor. I don't pay rent. No one in the whole of Ilesa can spend more than that per annum on self unless they are wasting money intentionally. If I need to spend more I will, but I don't need to
It is somehow uncivilized to meet someone anywhere and be broke shaming them is my point. What do you even have,? You are not moving big money. You own a small business which by your own admission you invest the savings into the NGX. So you are just coming up.
Then even your employees, you need to respect them not to talk of someone old enough to be your professor in school.
So that is my advise to you. Stop broke shaming random strangers. It makes no atom of sense I tell you and my quality of life is way above yours
Walahi I have said it severally. I don't have time for your tye in this thread. Stop trying to hard to prove no point to me.Abi u pass watin I dey see for that your picture
