Based on this information, my AI estimates that Dangote made $3.1 Billion from these products in September only.

Business is good for Alhaji
Show the AI's worked-out calculation; let's see how $3.1 billion was made in September alone. Stop lying with your tongue.

Let's do the maths using reasonable assumptions.

September petrol revenue estimate (30 days):

• Domestic sales: 28.5m litres/day × 30 × ₦900/litre = ₦769.5bn.

• Exports: 15.47m litres/day × 30 × $0.70/litre = $324.87m.

Assuming an exchange rate of ₦1,500/$, domestic sales equal $513m.

Estimated total petrol revenue: $838m for September.

This excludes diesel, aviation fuel and other products. It also assumes the stated volumes were sold at the assumed prices.

Profit is a different calculation. We would need crude oil/feedstock costs, refining and operating expenses, logistics, financing and other costs to estimate net profit.

Therefore, the $3.1bn claim cannot be established from the petrol figures alone.

It is sad that you obidients cannot engage in civil discussion without resorting to tout behaviour and that is number 1 reason that Obi has lost 90% of those who supported him outside southeast.

He won several states outside the SE in 2023 but just watch, he would not even make 25% in any state outside SE in 2027
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Stockpromoter(m): 11:02am On Oct 24
Austinlaz and Thomas Wyatt has to pull back because they have delivered almost 60% when other stocks are struggling to make 10%.Likewise Avacap, some people booked profit yesterday.

Does it make the stocks not good again.
Even yesterday, both Austinlaz and Thomas Wyatt gathered another strength to rally next week.

This is TA people are using to trade.

You are unhappy because Loco is promoting them but you fail to be unhappy with the TA itself which Loco is following.

Better go and sleep oooo @ Mankindman2024.
I will chew you like gworo this time

You used 900 naira per litre and 1500/$ for September 2026, yet you are the one calling me a liar?

For Petrol my AI added 28.5 million to 15.47 million litres to get around 43 million litres. You then multiply that by 30 days to get approximately 1.32 Billion litres of petrol alone that was sold. Multiply that by an average cost price of $0.98 per litre or 1310 naira per litre (not 900 naira per litre) to get around $1.29 Billion realized as revenue from petrol sales alone in September.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by megawealth01: 11:22am On Oct 24
Let no one threaten anyone here! Even Trump is openly criticised by Americans, and he doesn't force himself on them for expressing their opinions.

Jagaban needs to do more for the masses. He promised to let the poor breathe, but the question is: Are the poor truly breathing under his administration, or are they being suffocated by the very policies that should improve their lives? Actions must match promises, and Nigerians deserve better.

Mankind2024:
AN OPEN WARNING TO MR STOCKPROMOTER.

My dear Mr S. Promoter,

In 2024/25, I cautioned you against your habit of aggressively pushing your stock picks down the throats of forum members. I am confronting you again: stop polishing fundamentally weak, illiquid and seemingly moribund stocks in what appears to be an attempt to create exit liquidity at the expense of unsuspecting investors.

After accumulating these stocks, you appear to target inexperienced members who may become exit buyers. Remember, a rotten fruit does not become sweet because it is wrapped in gold foil, and a dead horse cannot run simply because its saddle is polished.
No amount of promotion can permanently conceal poor fundamentals.

To prospective victims of such promotions, please exercise caution. Research every company independently before investing.
When the seller's voice is louder than the company's fundamentals, proceed with caution.

I do not envy you. I am an experienced investor across multiple exchanges, with a track record of successful investments. My concern is that this forum should promote genuine investment opportunities, not become a dumping ground for questionable stocks. If Nigerians had the courage to challenge unethical conduct rather than remain silent, perhaps our society would be in a better place today.

I also remember your previous claim that I met you on this forum and would eventually leave it for you. You are gravely mistaken. My reduced participation has been due to repeated bans by moderators, which I believe discourage open criticism and accountability.

Although the saying goes that a leopard cannot change its spots, you are not a leopard; you can change your ways. An investment forum should be a marketplace for knowledge, not a hunting ground for unsuspecting investors.

I have spoken again. Let the fundamentals speak louder than the promoters, and let investors protect their hard-earned money.

Regards.
Wetin you dey smoke self?

And who made you a "class monitor" here?

Stockpromoter:
Mankind2024, I think this goes beyond constructive criticism and begins to look like a personal attack.

If you disagree with someone’s stock picks, the strongest response is to present the facts: the company’s financials, valuation, liquidity, risks, and reasons why you believe the investment is poor. Let other forum members examine the evidence and make their own decisions.

Stock promotion is not automatically manipulation, just as criticising a stock does not automatically make someone right. What matters is whether the information being shared is factual, balanced, and transparent.

Calling someone’s stocks rotten, accusing them of seeking exit liquidity, and describing other members as potential victims are serious insinuations. Such claims should be backed by specific evidence, not assumptions or personal judgments.

We are all here to learn, share ideas, debate investment opportunities, and make better decisions. Nobody owns the market, and nobody has a monopoly on investment knowledge.

Challenge the analysis, not the analyst. Present the facts, not personal accusations. Let the market and the fundamentals determine who is right.

This forum will be a better place when we hold every stock opinion to the same standard of evidence, regardless of who makes it.
I laughed when I read Mankind's warning and your response, depicting it with pictorial representations, very creative and even much more better than writing epistles 😁

I want to suggest that henceforth, you, Mankind and other epistle writers (who can use the AI pictorials) should communicate your writeups using pictorial datas and representations, this will help save space on this thread. 😁

I'm sure Mega will not have time for that or be able to learn and do that, but always have more than sufficient time to be spamming the thread with different internet news that's not related to the topic of this thread tongue
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by megawealth01: 11:29am On Oct 24
If Nigeria is truly committed to achieving sustainable development, all presidential candidates including JAGABAN should be invited to a public debate where they can clearly outline their policies, development strategies and practical solutions to the challenges facing the nation.

Each candidate should explain how they intend to grow the economy, create jobs, improve security, strengthen public institutions, and ease the economic hardship faced by ordinary Nigerians. Their proposals should be specific, measurable, and realistic, allowing citizens to assess their competence, priorities, and readiness to lead.

Nigerians deserve a leadership selection process driven by ideas, policies, and proven capacity rather than personality cults, political sentiments, or endless blame games. The future of the nation should be determined by the quality of the solutions presented and each candidate's ability to translate promises into tangible results for the masses.
