I respect all Nigerian elders, especially those who have passed on. However, I have my reservations about what Nigeria did to Biafra, and I would rather not delve into the details at this time.

I should not be forced to drag this forum into an undistorted historical discussion simply because I have chosen to express my reservations. Bringing Ojukwu into this discussion is, in my view, the height of it, but I will maintain my calm for now and exercise restraint until I decide otherwise.

You used 900 naira per litre and 1500/$ for September 2026, yet you are the one calling me a liar?

For Petrol my AI added 28.5 million to 15.47 million litres to get around 43 million litres. You then multiply that by 30 days to get approximately 1.32 Billion litres of petrol alone that was sold. Multiply that by an average cost price of $0.98 per litre or 1310 naira per litre (not 900 naira per litre) to get around $1.29 Billion realized as revenue from petrol sales alone in September.
You said, and I quote, "Dangote made $3.1 Billion from these products in September only." Now you are sneakily bringing in revenue, LOL, lying and passing it off as fact. Show us the full calculation; let's see it. By the way, do you know that I can make one million Naira in revenue and still end up with less than 100 thousand Naira in profit?

Dear Mr S. Promoter,
The fact that forum members have not openly summoned the courage to caution you against your relentless promotion of speculative, fundamentally questionable stocks does not mean they approve of your conduct. Sometimes, silence is not consent; it is simply the decision to avoid an unnecessary quarrel. As the Yoruba proverb says, “A kì í fi ọwọ́ kan ẹyẹ tó ń sùn kí a má bà a jí.”
One does not disturb a sleeping bird without a reason. But neither should silence be mistaken for endorsement.

You speak eloquently about constructive criticism, facts, and accountability. Those are noble principles. My question is simple: are you equally prepared to subject your own stock-promotion history to the same rigorous scrutiny you demand of others?

You appear to be hiding behind the uncertainties of technical analysis (TA), as though TA were a licence to promote stocks indefinitely without confronting the consequences for those who follow your recommendations.

Where is Japaul Gold today? What became of Royalex, Austinlaz, Regains and THOMASWY your new bride?

What lessons should investors draw from the history of these stocks and the manner in which they were promoted? These are legitimate questions, not personal attacks. Let us discuss the evidence, the fundamentals, the price performance, and the risks faced by investors who may have acted on such persistent advocacy.

A drum may sound sweet to the drummer, but the listener must decide whether the music is worth dancing to. Likewise, a stock promoter may see endless opportunities in a struggling company, but the investor who commits hard-earned money bears the consequences when the anticipated turnaround fails to materialise.

Please develop a clear conscience about the responsibility that comes with influencing other people's investment decisions. This forum should be a place for sharing knowledge, not a marketplace where questionable stocks are relentlessly marketed under the cover of technical analysis.

Many of us possess a reasonable, if not substantial, understanding of TA. We know that successful investors may use it to identify entry points, assess momentum, and manage risk. But TA is not a substitute for sound fundamentals, nor does repeated promotion transform a weak business into a good investment.

My concern is your alleged pattern of aggressively marketing struggling or speculative stocks, sometimes for months on end, in circumstances that can leave latecomers exposed to significant losses. When the salesman celebrates the opportunity but the buyer inherits the burden, something is fundamentally wrong with the arrangement.

There is no personal attack here. Criticism of a person's conduct in a public investment forum is not automatically a personal attack, particularly when the criticism concerns publicly observable stock performance and a pattern of behaviour that deserves examination. If my assertions are incorrect, let the facts disprove them. If they are correct, let us have the honesty to confront them.

If more Nigerians had the courage to speak up when they witnessed questionable conduct, rather than remaining silent to preserve friendships or avoid confrontation, perhaps we would be a little better off as a society. A community that refuses to challenge wrongdoing eventually becomes a shelter for it.

Furthermore, some of the stocks you celebrate may eventually recover because their businesses improve, their earnings strengthen, their debts become more manageable, or market conditions turn favourable. If such recoveries occur, they should be credited to the underlying improvements and the market's eventual recognition of value, not automatically to the person who spent 360 days promoting the stocks on a forum.

Indeed, patience and sound judgment often reward investors who recognise genuine turnarounds. Ironically, you may have missed some of the benefits of such recoveries yourself by moving on before the underlying businesses had completed their transformation. If so, that should be a lesson in patience, not a reason to keep searching for another speculative story to promote.

I have nothing personal against you. I did not know you before our interactions on this forum. My objection is to the pattern of conduct I believe I have observed over the years.

Your history of changing monikers, from Locodemy to Locotrader, Locodemy2, Stockpromoter, and others, as I recall it, raises legitimate questions about continuity, accountability, and reputation. I recall periods of heated criticism followed by your disappearance and subsequent reappearance under another identity. If my recollection is disputed, it can be examined fairly. But changing a username does not erase the lessons investors may have learnt from earlier recommendations.

A man may change his clothes, but changing his clothes does not change his character; only a change in conduct can do that. And where formal consequences are absent, one's conscience remains an important judge.

I am speaking up because I do not want other forum members to commit their hard-earned money to stocks without understanding the underlying risks. I would rather raise an uncomfortable question today than remain silent and regret tomorrow that I had an opportunity to warn others but chose not to use it.

So, my advice is straightforward: stop the relentless promotion of stocks you cannot adequately defend on their fundamentals. Present the financial statements, valuation, cash flows, debt profile, business prospects, and downside risks. Explain what could go wrong just as enthusiastically as you explain what could go right. Disclose your position and any relevant conflicts of interest where appropriate.

Then allow investors to make informed decisions.

The market has always rewarded genuine business improvement in its own time. It does not need a permanent chorus of promoters to force a recovery into existence.

Remember: he who lights a fire in another man's house should not be surprised when the smoke reaches his own doorstep.

I have said my piece. My intention is not to destroy you but to challenge a pattern of conduct I consider harmful to informed investing. You may disagree with my tone, but I hope you will reflect seriously on the substance.

The ultimate test of a stock promoter is not how passionately he sells a story, but how honestly he confronts the outcome when the story fails.

Stockpromoter:
Austinlaz and Thomas Wyatt has to pull back because they have delivered almost 60% when other stocks are struggling to make 10%.Likewise Avacap, some people booked profit yesterday.

Does it make the stocks not good again.
Even yesterday, both Austinlaz and Thomas Wyatt gathered another strength to rally next week.

This is TA people are using to trade.

You are unhappy because Loco is promoting them but you fail to be unhappy with the TA itself which Loco is following.

Better go and sleep oooo @ Mankindman2024.
I will chew you like gworo this time

I have never spoken negatively about Awolowo or any Yoruba elder who has passed on, nor have I done so about any Northern elder. I have deliberately avoided mentioning Buhari in most of my discussions because he has passed on. I have tremendous respect for leaders, regardless of their ethnic or regional backgrounds, especially those who are no longer alive, and I believe they should be treated with dignity and respect.

So you admit you were wrong in your calculation right? That’s the first step. Everyone who can read would know from my first post on the sales in September based on my quotation of the NMPDRA report that I was writing about revenue. Nowhere did I mention profit in my write up but you would clearly see revenue in my prior post.
I can say MTN made 5 trillion naira as revenue. That doesn’t mean it’s Gross or Net profit and everyone with eyes who read my prior post to that would know that $3.1 Billion made by the firm was revenue.

How is this complicated for you?

You are asking for the calculation and I just gave you the calculation in this post you quoted where I debunked your calculation because you used 900 naira per litre and 1500/$ to arrive at your figure. So you are the one who’s clearly wrong. Rather than admit that, you ignored it to debate revenue and profit.

Your wrong calculation wasn’t it based on revenue? It means you knew I was writing about revenue from the beginning so why the gaslighting?

Have you worked for a construction company before? I have worked for 17 years in charge of accounting and project costing in a Nigerian/Romanian outfit. The company majored on world Bank and multilateral agencies assisted projects. In a project of this magnitude you will find it difficult to have one fixed cost. It's broken into lots or sections and costed according. The designs are equally in this pattern.

Dave is right. In this type of project there will always be cost and design adjustments as new issues are discovered. The overall cost can only be known at the completion of the project.

Too much politics against this project. Why are people not politicizing the Sokoto Badagri super highway? Can you see what we are doing to ourselves in the south?

I now fully understand that most Nigerians have a comprehension problem. There is a huge difference between having no engineering design at all and not having a single comprehensive design capturing the entire project. What is available, rather, is a section-by-section engineering design.

Dear Mankindman2024,

With all due respect, let us keep this discussion brief and factual rather than turn it into lengthy epistles filled with allegations.

The stocks you mentioned delivered trading opportunities and returns to investors who acted on our calls at the time. No trader can guarantee that a stock will maintain its price indefinitely, especially when its catalysts fade or market conditions change.

Loco is a short-term trader, not a long-term investment adviser. Our stock picks are based on technical analysis and the catalysts visible at the time. We share our setups; we do not compel anyone to buy or advise traders to buy and forget their positions.

When a setup changes, traders must reassess their positions and manage their risks. That is part of trading.

I welcome genuine criticism backed by verifiable facts, but repeated accusations and lengthy narratives are not substitutes for evidence.

Please challenge our analysis with facts, not personal attacks. If you have specific evidence that our calls were misleading, present it for everyone to examine. Otherwise, let us disagree respectfully and allow every forum member to make independent decisions.

Because mine is way closer to the fact than yours and based on actual numbers we can verify in September ie Dangote did not sell at 900 naira per litre in September but definitely between 1300 and 1350 per litre on average. Naira did not average 1500/$ in September but definitely around 1325 - 1350/$ making $0.98 sales more plausible.

Mr S. Promoter, sometimes the conscience is a more powerful judge than any public critic.

If you are genuinely confident in the stocks you relentlessly promote, why not demonstrate that confidence through transparency?
Disclose your own exposure and explain whether you intend to reduce your holdings as liquidity improves.
He who recommends the road to others should be willing to disclose the potholes along the way.

Your 360 days campaigns for speculative and seemingly Hotel California stocks, where investors may find it easier to enter than exit raise legitimate questions about whose interests are ultimately being served. I suspect December 2026 may reveal more about these campaigns, but time will tell.

You are not the only investor holding these stocks. Some members simply choose modesty and patience, preferring to wait for genuine fundamental improvements rather than relentlessly promote their holdings to the forum.

Remember, the man who keeps praising the goods in his shop should not be offended when buyers ask whether he intends to sell them, or why.
Transparency builds trust; repeated and thankless promotion alone does not.

Mankindman2024,

I think it is time we put this argument to rest. However, if you choose to prolong it, I am equally prepared to defend my position. I will not back down simply because the accusations are repeated, but I will gladly engage with verifiable facts.

You have made several allegations, yet you have not presented concrete evidence to substantiate them. Disagreeing with my stock picks is your right, but repeatedly questioning my motives without evidence does not make your allegations true.

I have explained our short-term trading approach. Let us respect our differences and allow other forum members to make their own decisions.

Can we please allow the sleeping dog to lie? There is no need to turn an investment forum into a personal battleground. If you have facts, present them; otherwise, let us move on.

Is that a crime?
My brother me I just bought cheap insurance stock to wait for insurance sector's time

Dangote Cement has yet to fully unlock its export potential, while its ambitious foreign exchange listing initiative remains another exciting prospect to watch.

For me, the combination of its strong fundamentals, shareholder distribution structure, and future growth opportunities makes it a compelling candidate for a long-term, buy-and-hold-forever investment strategy.

My wish is to keep growing my position and move from Category 4 to Category 5. One step at a time, building lasting wealth through patience, conviction, and compounding! 🙏📈

Thank God you bought two of the insurance stocks cheaply.
I chose to promote one of them because it has a solid TA and also a strong catalyst following it.
Guinea insurance has upper hand over Regency.

As market is responding to this analysis, some are not happy with me.I have become a hawker instead of a promoter.
This TA,I have equipped myself with some tools to upgrade myself in it because this is the next that will feed the traders in the market if there is no crash in the coming months.
