Obi will lose votes because of obidients or because u see him as igbo

while BAT will gather more votes because of his failure in the last 3 yrs plus

The level of hunger and poverty is thr for anyone to verify for his failure.
And police guiding his bill board in kaduna

Is it obidients destroying his bill boards in the north and burning brooms..lol

Show the AI's worked-out calculation; let's see how $3.1 billion was made in September alone. Stop lying with your tongue.

Let's do the maths using reasonable assumptions.

September petrol revenue estimate (30 days):

• Domestic sales: 28.5m litres/day × 30 × ₦900/litre = ₦769.5bn.

• Exports: 15.47m litres/day × 30 × $0.70/litre = $324.87m.

Assuming an exchange rate of ₦1,500/$, domestic sales equal $513m.

Estimated total petrol revenue: $838m for September.

This excludes diesel, aviation fuel and other products. It also assumes the stated volumes were sold at the assumed prices.

Profit is a different calculation. We would need crude oil/feedstock costs, refining and operating expenses, logistics, financing and other costs to estimate net profit.

Therefore, the $3.1bn claim cannot be established from the petrol figures alone.
Why didn't you just use N200?

Who bought fuel below N1300 anywhere in this entire country in September?

You can't go on to put up malicious figures while attempting to correct someone you claimed did the same.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by awesomeJ(m): 3:58pm On Oct 24
And in case you do not get it, it's not just your N900 that's malicious, so were your 70 cents and N1500.

You said, and I quote, "Dangote made $3.1 Billion from these products in September only." Now you are sneakily bringing in revenue, LOL, lying and passing it off as fact. Show us the full calculation; let's see it. By the way, do you know that I can make one million Naira in revenue and still end up with less than 100 thousand Naira in profit?
But in your response too, you explicitly stated that "profit calculation is something else, we would need cost of crude to determine that..."

So you knew it was revenue, yet you used maliciously wrong figures, now when he called you out, instead of admitting your mistakes, you're saying someone can make one million revenue and not make profit, is that the pointhuh The point is about revenue and about you retracting the very wrong estimates you made while trying to push unnecessary corrections to his figures.

Mankind2024:
Dear Mr S. Promoter,
The fact that forum members have not openly summoned the courage to caution you against your relentless promotion of speculative, fundamentally questionable stocks does not mean they approve of your conduct. Sometimes, silence is not consent; it is simply the decision to avoid an unnecessary quarrel. As the Yoruba proverb says, “A kì í fi ọwọ́ kan ẹyẹ tó ń sùn kí a má bà a jí.”
One does not disturb a sleeping bird without a reason. But neither should silence be mistaken for endorsement.

You speak eloquently about constructive criticism, facts, and accountability. Those are noble principles. My question is simple: are you equally prepared to subject your own stock-promotion history to the same rigorous scrutiny you demand of others?

You appear to be hiding behind the uncertainties of technical analysis (TA), as though TA were a licence to promote stocks indefinitely without confronting the consequences for those who follow your recommendations.

Where is Japaul Gold today? What became of Royalex, Austinlaz, Regains and THOMASWY your new bride?

What lessons should investors draw from the history of these stocks and the manner in which they were promoted? These are legitimate questions, not personal attacks. Let us discuss the evidence, the fundamentals, the price performance, and the risks faced by investors who may have acted on such persistent advocacy.

A drum may sound sweet to the drummer, but the listener must decide whether the music is worth dancing to. Likewise, a stock promoter may see endless opportunities in a struggling company, but the investor who commits hard-earned money bears the consequences when the anticipated turnaround fails to materialise.

Please develop a clear conscience about the responsibility that comes with influencing other people's investment decisions. This forum should be a place for sharing knowledge, not a marketplace where questionable stocks are relentlessly marketed under the cover of technical analysis.

Many of us possess a reasonable, if not substantial, understanding of TA. We know that successful investors may use it to identify entry points, assess momentum, and manage risk. But TA is not a substitute for sound fundamentals, nor does repeated promotion transform a weak business into a good investment.

My concern is your alleged pattern of aggressively marketing struggling or speculative stocks, sometimes for months on end, in circumstances that can leave latecomers exposed to significant losses. When the salesman celebrates the opportunity but the buyer inherits the burden, something is fundamentally wrong with the arrangement.

There is no personal attack here. Criticism of a person's conduct in a public investment forum is not automatically a personal attack, particularly when the criticism concerns publicly observable stock performance and a pattern of behaviour that deserves examination. If my assertions are incorrect, let the facts disprove them. If they are correct, let us have the honesty to confront them.

If more Nigerians had the courage to speak up when they witnessed questionable conduct, rather than remaining silent to preserve friendships or avoid confrontation, perhaps we would be a little better off as a society. A community that refuses to challenge wrongdoing eventually becomes a shelter for it.

Furthermore, some of the stocks you celebrate may eventually recover because their businesses improve, their earnings strengthen, their debts become more manageable, or market conditions turn favourable. If such recoveries occur, they should be credited to the underlying improvements and the market's eventual recognition of value, not automatically to the person who spent 360 days promoting the stocks on a forum.

Indeed, patience and sound judgment often reward investors who recognise genuine turnarounds. Ironically, you may have missed some of the benefits of such recoveries yourself by moving on before the underlying businesses had completed their transformation. If so, that should be a lesson in patience, not a reason to keep searching for another speculative story to promote.

I have nothing personal against you. I did not know you before our interactions on this forum. My objection is to the pattern of conduct I believe I have observed over the years.

Your history of changing monikers, from Locodemy to Locotrader, Locodemy2, Stockpromoter, and others, as I recall it, raises legitimate questions about continuity, accountability, and reputation. I recall periods of heated criticism followed by your disappearance and subsequent reappearance under another identity. If my recollection is disputed, it can be examined fairly. But changing a username does not erase the lessons investors may have learnt from earlier recommendations.

A man may change his clothes, but changing his clothes does not change his character; only a change in conduct can do that. And where formal consequences are absent, one's conscience remains an important judge.

I am speaking up because I do not want other forum members to commit their hard-earned money to stocks without understanding the underlying risks. I would rather raise an uncomfortable question today than remain silent and regret tomorrow that I had an opportunity to warn others but chose not to use it.

So, my advice is straightforward: stop the relentless promotion of stocks you cannot adequately defend on their fundamentals. Present the financial statements, valuation, cash flows, debt profile, business prospects, and downside risks. Explain what could go wrong just as enthusiastically as you explain what could go right. Disclose your position and any relevant conflicts of interest where appropriate.

Then allow investors to make informed decisions.

The market has always rewarded genuine business improvement in its own time. It does not need a permanent chorus of promoters to force a recovery into existence.

Remember: he who lights a fire in another man's house should not be surprised when the smoke reaches his own doorstep.

I have said my piece. My intention is not to destroy you but to challenge a pattern of conduct I consider harmful to informed investing. You may disagree with my tone, but I hope you will reflect seriously on the substance.

The ultimate test of a stock promoter is not how passionately he sells a story, but how honestly he confronts the outcome when the story fails.
This man, weren't you the one celebrating NCR last yearhuh

I told you it was a lucky win and you almost picked a fight? How much of that stock have you been able to sell since May?

You said you specifically go out looking for companies that fit the profile of NCR ( negative equity and lean OS) wasn't it junk too when you were all over it?

The point of this post isn't to support or speak against any promotion, the point is to say you do not have any grounds to speak against junk stocks, cos when they flew to the moons, you made it sound like they were your only specialty.

Block the man if you don't like his posts..

If you're concerned about spamming, you aren't doing any better based on the length of your posts, maybe you're just better in terms of frequency.

Then if you're worried about newbies, if they buy stocks and get burnt, the lessons could be priceless. There were days when I lost 5-10% of my entire portfolio in single sessions, today I have uncommon mastery of the market, so leave people to make their mistakes and hopefully learn and improve from them.

Niger Republic now have the cheapest fuel in West Africa due to Niger’s subsidy. The Government had to ban exports to prevent scarcity. Those at the Northern borders with Nigeria might still smuggle into Nigeria to make some cool profits.

@Mr armchair critic,
There is an old saying, What is good for the goose is not always good for the gander. Context matters, and one must distinguish between different circumstances before drawing conclusions.

Let us not confuse two entirely different contexts. My investment in NCR was a long-term decision based on a specific objective, not a case of monkey-hunting a stock or relentlessly marketing it to the forum for 360 days. The investment eventually delivered and outperformed the naira’s devaluation during that period. That was the outcome of my investment thesis, not an excuse to promote every speculative stock that catches my attention.
As the saying goes, “One swallow does not make a summer.” A successful investment in one stock does not automatically validate every other stock-promotion strategy.

The issue has never been whether a stock can rise or whether traders can profit from speculative opportunities. It is whether persistent promotion is balanced with honest disclosure of risks, realistic exit prospects, and fundamental realities.

A successful investment is judged by its objectives and results, not by how loudly it is advertised. Let us judge each case on its own merits rather than use NCR to justify every other questionable promotion.

I ask you which figure he was referring to: profit or revenue? As far as I’m concerned, presenting an estimate as fact is misleading. Can you provide evidence of the actual transactions?

So, how can you prove that my estimate is wrong? Provide verifiable evidence, and I will accept that my estimate is wrong. If you can’t, I advise you to rest.

The person you criticize is better than you in this regard:

He mentions his own before any movement, and so his accuracy cab be better verified.

Your situation is significantly worse, cos not only do you push useless stocks, you always conveniently like to mention how you positioned early and made 10 billion percent returns.without showing any proofs

That sort of unverifiable cooked up trails are even more misleading for newbies.

The good thing about mentioning your mistakes to you is that you already know I'm right no matter how much you refuse to admit or do useless back and forths.

I advise you to use your time for something more productive.

You can bask on in the delusion of thinking you bought fuel for N900 last month, it wouldn't change the fact that you're only just hallucinating or being stubborn.

If true Dangote Cement heading for 2k and beyond

SonofElElyonRet:
Billionaire investor Femi Otedola is buying Dangote Cement shares again, according to sources who spoke to Nairametrics.

Sources with knowledge of the matter said he is targeting a 5% stake in the cement producer. Dangote Cement has a free float of less than 10% with Dangote Industries owning 86.65% as of December 2025.

The reported purchases come as Dangote Cement shares gained 10% on Friday, although Nairametrics could not independently verify the buying or establish its connection to the price movement.

Ote likely to do same with Dangote Refinery.. even if not immediately after listing
