To me, only one candidate can easily get the constitutional spread, and thats the incumbent president. Politics isn't emotions. mikeapollo: |

HOW A LAGOS DRIVER CONNECTED ME TO MY WIFE 😍❤️ Going to work everyday from Bariga to Island is not beans. If you know, you know. The traffic, the rush, the conductors shouting "CMS CMS O PAY O!" That Tuesday morning, I entered a danfo as usual. The bus was full. Just one fine lady beside me. Complete spec. The one wey if you see am, you go say "God really took time." We got to Obalende and wahala started. Change. Driver no get 100 naira to give us. I no get. She no get. The driver just looked at me and said, "Oga, take 200 naira share with my sister for back." I was still calculating how to share 200 naira for two people, when this damsel looked at me calmly, smiled and said, "Don't bother, Sir. You can have it. It's fine." Ha! In this Lagos? Where person fit fight you because of 50 naira change? It wasn't just the money. It was how she said it. So respectful, so kind. Her words melted me. For a city where everyone is angry and rushing, her calmness stood out. I couldn't let that kindness go just like that. I said, "Ah, no na. Give me your number let me do transfer, or at least let me reciprocate tomorrow." She laughed and gave me her number. Happily. One thing led to another. Chat turned to calls. Calls turned to dates. Dates turned to love. From a stranger in a Bariga bus to my peace of mind. Today, we are not just lovers. We are partners. And by God's grace, this January before election - because nobody knows where this country will go after election - we will be walking down the aisle. 😊 Moral: Kindness still exists in Lagos. Sometimes your destiny is sitting right beside you in traffic. Lagos driver, thank you. You shared more than change that day. You shared my future wife. COPIED |

Oasisblue:Okay. What is the name of the incumbent president? |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by MEGAWEALTH02: 12:15pm On Oct 29 |
Whenever our politicians call for prayers while they are the ones in power, I have a problem with that. What exactly are you asking God to do? The responsibility of a leader is to provide basic amenities, create opportunities, ensure security, and improve the living conditions of the people. These are fundamental duties of governance, not responsibilities to be shifted to God. Prayer is important, but it should not become an excuse for poor leadership or a way to shift responsibility away from those entrusted with power. You cannot neglect your duties as a leader and expect God to take responsibility for your failures. God has given you the opportunity to lead; it is your responsibility to lead well. |

Chuka messed up big time Nairametrics Zichis Agro-Allied Industries Plc (ZAAI) recorded a 179.21% increase in pre-tax profit to N561.32 million for the nine months ended September 30, 2026, compared with N201.04 million in the corresponding period of 2025. |

awesomeJ:Suprised when I saw the amount alloted. Why then did they offer 800b |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by awesomeJ(m): 12:55pm On Oct 29 |
Odunharry:N800bn is probably in line with their average offers for the year. they just wouldn't move the stop rates any higher. Next auction might dip even more cos people will bid much more cautiously. |

ARADEL where is our Q3? |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Stockpromoter(m): 1:02pm On Oct 29 |
MEGAWEALTH02:😂😂 Mega, dash LASACO to NGX ke? Not so fast, my guy! I think the story is getting more interesting. At least, you can see that the huge supply that used to appear consistently on the offer side has reduced drastically. With Ibile Holdings now holding 51% and Canon Properties 36.21%, the two major shareholders control 87.21% of LASACO, leaving just 12.78% free float. When genuine demand comes into a stock with this kind of ownership concentration, price movements can become very sharp. And the fundamentals are beginning to tell a different story too. LASACO has returned to profitability, posting ₦1.25 billion profit after tax for the first nine months of 2026, against a ₦4.81 billion loss in the corresponding period of 2025. That's a ₦6.32 billion turnaround at the profit-before-tax level! Watch out for a very sharp rise in Lasaco when the insurance index GBE body. |

awesomeJ:Good question. Corruption in NNPC of course but I believe Seplat now have 65% of their operations offshore so less security risks but that of course doesn’t explain it all. |

| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by awesomeJ(m): 1:12pm On Oct 29 |
GeneralDae:SEPLAT historically even had cost at under $10? Why nobody talks about this NNPC daylight robbery is troubling!!! This is one of the reasons I would rather have NNPCL sell down assets, cos the country would get much more value from them when run efficiently by the likes of SEPLAT. |

GTCO Q3 breakdown: *Headline:* 9M Profit DOWN 12% - *PAT:* N614.57bn ($463m) vs N699.64bn last year = *-12%* - *PBT:* N879.9bn = *-2.3%* - *Gross Earnings:* N1.63tn = *+3.3%* (they grew revenue, but profit fell). *Why profit fell:* 1. *Funding costs killed them:* Interest expense *+27.7% to N356bn*, but interest income only +5% to N1.29tn. Net Interest Income actually *fell -1.7% to N935.88bn*. They are paying more for deposits than they earn on loans. 2. *Tax surge:* Tax expense *+32% to N265.32bn*, effective tax rate jumped from 22.3% to *30.2%*. 3. *EPS fell -19.9% to N16.58* — worse than PAT fall because of dilution. *The good news they buried:* - Loan losses *down -58.4% to N29.02bn* — quality of loan book improved - Customer deposits *+9.4% to N13.73tn* — people still putting money with GTCO - Total Assets *+3.5% to N18.37tn*, Equity N3.48tn — balance sheet still very strong - They are *deliberately not lending*: Loans *-4.1% to N3tn*, but investment securities *up to N5.94tn* — they parked money in T-bills and bonds instead of risky loans. *Q3 alone was worse:* - Q3 PBT *-7.7%*, Q3 PAT *-20% to N200.39bn* — slowdown accelerating. *Market reaction:* Shares down 10% in last 4 weeks, but still *+35.80% YTD* from N90.70. Segun Agbaje's stake still huge. *Bottom line:* GTCO is not in trouble — it's a *margin squeeze*. Banks are collecting deposits (+9.4%) but refusing to lend (loans -4.1%) because CBN rate is high and risks are high. So they pay high interest on deposits and earn low on T-bills. If funding costs peak in Q4, Q1 2027 will bounce. But don't expect Q4 to be strong. |
