I will be blocking as many people as possible today so they can go ahead and enjoy the company of others with 001, 00001, or whatever version they choose to clone.

I simply don't have the time or energy for haters disguised as advisers. 😂
I don't think blocking people for 3 weeks is a wise decision.
You are making your moniker look inferior while the 001 gain control.
Why not go ahead with your contributions and allow him to do his own?
Time will tell us who is right or wrong

He can go ahead and enjoy his popularity, provided he doesn't scam people. As for me, I will block anyone I notice making subtle insults or taking indirect shots at me. I have no time for unnecessary drama or disguised hostility.

It is not about who gains control between 01 v 001
It is about the danger of using the similar moniker to potentially mislead, scam and defraud those who follow genuinely 01.

Otherwise, there are endless other moniker names that could be used: Megabillionaire; Trillionaire, SonOfaRichMan, Flowingwealth Wealthywealth etc

I get your point, but it doesn't make sense that they can't enjoy the bullish run in crude oil prices, especially as there is no certainty this windfall will continue.

In their investor note, they said payment to Shell will continue until Q4. However, I'm not sure we will see crude above $100 per barrel with Trump in charge in the US.

Let's concentrate on the thread's topic and avoid unnecessary insinuations.

I am watching the two monikers.
Both are good and I don't think there is intentions to scam anyone by both.

Of course,we know mega01 as a veteran in this thread.
If mega001 mess up,the moderators will treat his mess.

Let's pls allow 01 and 001 to bring their positive contributions.
I am enjoying both.

The poor citizens of Nigeria are only weaponised during election cycle and that's what takes the sail out of the claims by all these emergency advocates.

Where was the masses when Peterside was accumulating his billions and if I remember correctly, he was an economic advisor to PMB 🤔

When people eventually get scammed here, I definitely won't say a word.

I only spoke out because of those who haven't known me for long, but more importantly, out of respect for the oldies and my paddies here who have been around long enough to understand me.

I honestly don't care about 001, 00001, or whatever version they choose to clone, neither do I care about their sympathizers, Jagaban's supporters, or those who naturally dislike THE MEGAWEALTH01 HIMSELF, fully IGBO BLOODED, ANAMBRA MAN 😂

Very soon we go enter season of stockspicks maybe after elections and you won't see the impostor no more. Imposter no get originality sef 😂

Everybody is free to think whatever they want. I have simply done my part by raising the alarm.

I will keep blocking people as usual 😂

My thought exactly. If there is no ultirior motive, why using a moniker that one hardly notice the difference? I wouldn't have noticed if it has not been called out. He could have used something like Supermegawealth and one will not confuse it with the original one. You know when reading on a forum like this, you already form a mental character around each moniker. Now seeing Megawealth 01, or 001, you would be wondering which of them you're chating with. Nothing stops him from taking any moniker of his choice but not trying to "steal someones identity" if he has nothing else in mind.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by megawealth01: 11:16am On Nov 03
He definitely has something up his sleeve. What first caught my attention was when he deliberately misspelled LASACO while trying to impersonate me. That was when I knew I had to quickly distance myself from him using this account.

Initially, I was using MEGAWEALTH02 because Jagaban's boys had reported my main account, MEGAWEALTH01, so I had to switch accounts for a while.

I simply don't want anyone mistaking his activities for mine.

More and more paid jobbers working for Jagaban will flood this forum in the days ahead. They are all over social media, seemingly working to create distractions and divert attention from the real issues affecting Nigerians.

BBNaija didn't achieve the desired distraction, and neither did VDM.

The truth is that all these huge sums of money being spent recklessly on distractions and propaganda could have been channelled towards improving the lives of ordinary Nigerians, especially the poor and vulnerable.

At a time when millions of Nigerians are struggling to survive, priorities should be about making life better for the people, not funding distractions.

Well sha let NIGERIA STOCK EXCHANGE REFORMS help una 😂

IMO, with the depletion of reserves worldwide, crude is very likely to trade above $100 at least 6months after Hormuz is fully opened...

Megawealth001:
SPDC has not incentive to negotiate....bear that in mind. All the legal advantages which is binding rests with SPDC.

What I expect a brilliant mind like you to be talking about is the likelihood of a compromised person or persons on Aradel's negotiating team.
You raise a valid point about SPDC's leverage. Legally, they hold the upper hand. They have no pressing incentive to renegotiate a binding contract that guarantees them a share of Aradel's upside.

But the idea that the only way out is a compromised negotiating team is speculative. There are legitimate commercial reasons why SPDC might restructure the deal.

1. Alignment of Interests and Asset Value
An earn-out structure that strips the operator of cash flow disincentivizes growth. If Aradel cannot retain enough capital to invest in production and infrastructure, the asset's long-term value stagnates. That hurts SPDC too. A restructured deal that allows Aradel to reinvest while still paying a fair sum might yield SPDC more over time than bleeding the operator dry in the short term.

2. Settlement Certainty
SPDC's earn-out is a contingent asset. It is subject to production risks, oil price volatility, and potentially legal disputes. A renegotiation that converts part of the outstanding N1.32 trillion liability into an upfront cash payment, equity, or a shorter-term note gives SPDC certainty. Creditors often prefer certain cash today over uncertain cash tomorrow.

3. Reputational and Regulatory Considerations
SPDC (Shell) is under intense global scrutiny regarding its Nigerian operations and divestment practices. A public dispute with the indigenous operator over an onerous earn-out clause creates reputational risk. Regulators may also look unfavorably on a structure that appears to strip a Nigerian company of its economic benefits.

4. The Risk of Value Wipeout
We are already seeing the potential value wipeout on the stock, driven by public and shareholder perception. If the market believes Aradel is just a cash cow for SPDC, the stock will remain discounted regardless of how much oil it pumps. Renegotiating the earn-out is not just about cash flow; it is about restoring investor confidence and protecting the company's valuation.

5. The Legitimacy of the Pushback
The Renaissance consortium (including Aradel) went all in on this arrangement with the full intention of making it work. But contracts are not static, and commercial realities change. It is entirely legitimate for the consortium to push back when the terms prove structurally imbalanced. Recognizing that a deal needs recalibration is not weakness; it is good governance.

On the "compromised team" theory:
That is a serious accusation without evidence. Aradel's negotiating team has a fiduciary duty to shareholders. The board has publicly stated the earn-out "no longer reflects the balanced participation originally intended." They are acting in the open. If there is any compromise, it will be exposed in the court of public opinion and by regulators.

The questions we should ask as individual shareholders:
How do all these affect us? What should be our stand—accumulate, exercise caution, hold, or port to another opportunity?

The answer depends on your conviction. If you believe management can renegotiate the earn-out and unlock the true earnings power of the enlarged group, the current panic-driven discount is an accumulation opportunity. If you are unsure whether SPDC will budge, caution and a hold are prudent. And if the structural overhang is too much to stomach, porting to a cleaner story is a rational choice.

The negotiation is live. The cash is there. The stock is pricing in fear, not fundamental failure. The decision is yours.

I’ve advised you guys before: when arguing with that guy, never allow him to change the topic—which is exactly what you’ve just let him do.
Look at his first statement. He tried to present Peterside as an independent, unbiased observer stating plain facts—someone who would “soon be labeled as opposition.” But the moment you countered that Peterside is hardly an unbiased spectator, given where his allegiance clearly lies, he switched the topic to poor people. Classic deflection.
For the record: to the best of my knowledge, Peterside was never an economic adviser to PMB. He was a strong supporter of GEJ and was in the forefront of the 2011 subsidy removal efforts. I believe you’re mistaking him for Dakuku Peterside, who was indeed with PMB—but even then, not as an economic adviser.

9jatriot:
I don’t know why you’re all allowing him to twist and turn away from his original argument. The question remains simple: why did he watch a video of what a man clearly said, and then lie that he said something else?

All these new arguments are completely detached from where he started. This is his established pattern. I remember one time how he once told a lie about tax; the moment he was caught, he immediately pivoted to filtering appointees from one particular tribe and shifted the entire argument to that, simply because his first lie had been exposed.
When dealing with that guy, the rule is this: once you catch him in a lie, press him hard on it—and never let him change the topic to an adjacent one.

It was the same ''demonstrations in studios'' and what you call ''weaponization of the poor'' that made it possible for us to have democracy today that has created opportunity for someone to be civilian president.

I agree. He was not a member of Buhari's economic advisory team but he was appointed by PMB to head a Private Sector National Steering Committee.

Atedo Peterside was a member of the economic management team from 2007 to 2015.
