You shouldn't have made it known on a forum if u have no intention of defending it. I put your assertion down to mischief or ignorance or perhaps both.

This thread is exactly why Nigeria stinks as a nation. Someone who is drunk on Ethnic bigotry or shall I say inferiority complex opens a thread so he can promote the useless states of Ogun and Ekiti that cannot boast of any tangible world class structure. Then he's shamelessly followed by Igbo folks with the same local ethnic wine that want to smuggle in similar useless states of Anambra or Enugu.

You see why we have not progressed for the last 50 years.

Meanwhile folks are glued to the glorious and heavenly ENGLISH Premier league right there in Lagos Island, others boarding LUFTHANSA air paying double the price, and others talking about states producing THE MOST POWERFUL, THE MOST GREATEST, THE MOST BLACK NIGG.A in AFrica abi?

Ogun: Obasanjo, who ruled Nigeria for 11 years about one-fifth of the Nigeria's post-independence life. Ogun has also produced No 2 man in the country(Diya). 2 almost-Presidents, Awolowo and Abiola, are also from Ogun state. Let's not talk about Wole Soyinka, Mike Adenuga, and other big names from the state.

Katsina produced 2 Presidents, Buhari and Umoru Yar'adua, one No 2 man, Sheu Yar'adua.

Niger produced 2 Presidents, IBB and AbdulSalam.

So any ranking that doesn't have these states in Top 5 can hardly convince me. To me, Ogun in particular is No. 1.

The first three topmost states to reckon with when it comes to highest number of celebrated and powerful people in Nigeria both present and past, no ibo state comes anywhere close. Yoruba states takes the first two shots: It is Ogun, Ekiti or either Osun (Awolowo home state) and then followed by Plateau and Niger states.

And what do your states have to show for it? None of your top 3 states even has a single airport. Isn't that downright shameful? Agbepo!
