PAGAN 9JA:
consign 100%. i especially detest the term Hausa-Fulani. it show the ignorance of some people. angry

There is no one that hates the term "Hausa-Fulani" more than me, trust me. You are either Hausa or you are Fulani. Unless.......

You have a father who is Hausa and a mother who is Fulani (or vice-versa) but even then in Nigeria you won't be labelled as Hausa-Fulani).
Re: The "REAL" Hausa by PAGAN9JA(m): 12:45pm On Oct 01, 2012
^it still doesnt matter. you can have a white father and a Hausa mother. or you can have a Hausa father and a Fulani mother. its all one and the same thing. in all these cases, the offspring cease to be Tribal and Hausa. you are either 100% Hausa or non-Tribal.

Wow! What a rich and beautiful culture. Truelly amazing.

I guess when Americans ask if we have lions and tigers as pets or in our backyard they might have seen this? undecided Anyway God created humans to have dominion over animals not to be as scared as we are off them.

Kudos, bro for the thread, I have thoroughly enjoyed it. wink

Thanks for the thread. It just shows that we Africans had our own way of doing things before the oyinbos/arabs came. I hope we will one day rediscover what it is that makes us Idoma, Ijaw, Ashante..etc

7. Don't say or do anything that's detrimental to the security or success of Nairaland. hmmmmm

PAGAN 9JA can you throw more light on this please?

The Dan masanin Kano alhj maitama sule has publicly claimed in the past on several BBC interviews that the origins of the hausa is ethiopia

Do you agree with his statement?

I disagree with that. There is no connection. I would believe if he said Bayanjidda came from Chad. but Ethiopia is impossible. some of the stories have been twisted with like all stories.

My bro this is the reason the thread had to come on front page. Plz let us do away with all this negatives.

boko haram has nothing to do with us neither has islam. this is why I opened this thread. This thread is about who we Hausa truly are and you must respect us for it.

boko haram and islam are like diseases to us. I as a Hausaman, ask the help of all the tribes of Nigeria and my own brothers and sisters as well to come together with us and help us to eradicate and destroy this disease once and for all and return us to our former Glory and Pride.

Im sure I can trust my fellow Nigerian brothers and sisters in this ongoing war. Let us Promote our respective Traditions, Cultures and Religions and look towards a brighter future. United We Stand. cool

he was an invader. The sword speaks my friend. That was a crucial point for us. We were almost becoming fully Pagan and then Dan Fodio ruined all our hopes and dreams.
