It's a kind of habit I engaged in while growing up, I don't know why I engage in it but I do see that people whom I grew up with always spit at the spot where they just urinated!

I remembered asking my uncle way back then that, why do people spit at the spot where they urinated? He answered, 'so as not to make it smell'!

Over the years, I have discovered that it is more of a superstitious belief other than what many claimed it used to work for!

well,i personally don't do it..if you are urinating in a stinking environ you won't only spit on your urine but on whatever that's close to you..

i heard if you spit on it, you have rendered it useless to those that might wanna 'use' it... I spit on it when I do it in an unknown place tho, who wan die? ..

I think its a superstitious belief dat stuck.While growing up,I learnt if u spat on ur urine,it would be useless to evil pple who might wanna use it to harm u,secondly,if someone steps on it,ur privates won't hurt. Ask me how marching piss go make vjay or koboko pepper u.

Anyway I still do it,even in my own toilet b4 I flush.

I used to do that way back in Naija. The reason was because we grew up to learn that spitting on one's urine renders any charm that may be placed on that urine impotent. As I grew up though, I saw less sense in it and I stopped.
