charleymed: while examining a pathology specimen of nervous tissues under a microscope, the pathologist was able to determine the sex of the individual from whom the tissue had been removed. How would you be able to do this?

Ans: Buccal smear. Look for Barr Body a.k.a sex chromatin. If you find one, it's definitely a female. If none found, that's your male.

charleymed: Please did you use R.S.S neuroanatomy and anatomy textbooks? If yes i need tips on how to read them very well, cos from mere look of things i think those books are endowed.

Btw, what is R.S.S ? Did u mean to say BRS?

charleymed: yea... R.S.S means Richard .S. Snell, it's thesame book we are talking about, sorry 4 that....i have both clinical anatomy and neuroanatomy.....but i need tips on how to use them, am not satisfied with the way am going right now.

charleymed is remembered as the cleaving enzyme that hydrolysed the inactive part of the polypeptide chain by his questions into active components.

Not forgetting snave007 for his role as the voltage gated sodium channel to extrude these chains out of the cell.

Cellular protein transport can be energy consuming, so Dr.'Hesjay
was the ATP to provide the high energy phosphate bonds.

Just beside the transport channel was labodinho , our ATPase , the rate limiting enzyme in ATP hydrolysis.

Our one and qualified Dr Lagusta was seen supervising the protein transport (in the company of some fine nurses ) while Amb Fitsaint supplied the polypeptide specific anti-protease activity ensuring safe arrival of this protein at the target site.

For this protein to execute the signal for which it was manufactured, it needed a specific receptor Dr.Gboy
. Protein bound to Dr.Gboy led to activation of an enzyme, Dr_Bode which catalysed the conversion of

The second messenger sends signals for the release of a Fedric ion , which executes the physiologic function for which the protein was coded for.
