The salary structure of servicemen especially the recruits should not be used as excuse for them not to put their lives on d line and give their best even to the point of supreme sacrifice. After all they are not conscripts(no one forced them to join the army), they knew what they were bargaining for when they signed up to serve in our elite Army.
The fact is morally no level of salary structure and welfare can equal the sanctity of human life. So everyone should just do their job.

two times I applied to the Army's SSC and was never enlisted, I will keep applying until I am enlisted or perhaps have exceeded the age limit which is 35, so enlisting is the problem bro, am a brave patriot.

Hey bro, Do you really think a military man should be working for salaries? These are men who take hell risk about situations that has nothing to do with them, I 'd believe they are working for the Nation.
If they are working for the salary, then I don't think any amount of money will be enough to compensate them.
I love the NA so much, I just wish I was able enough to be like one, I would have worked for the nation, not even the salaries...

N80k for a Private ( Recruit) in the Nigerian army is a f*ucking good pay for a Nigerian worker. Raymondenyi and the other Diaspora Nigerians are busy converting it to Dollar, Pounds and Euro. Something they do all the time.
The Soldier works, lives and will spend his salary in Nigeria. Not in the US or UK.

I never knew they earn so much. They are really well paid. The problem is that they will blow their salary at the mammy market before they get home.
