My understanding from this scenario is that obi have not left apga to join pdp..its not that an easy decision.. As in, to declar for pdp right on the spot..its synonymous to a father disowning his son for no just reason..obi got some reputation .

Just because a section of the country wants him to be President because he's Ibo doesn't mean the rest of Nigeria wants him. Besides he's not even Presidential material. What did he do in Anambra to merit any aspiration to be president?

@OP,I didn't see anywhere he declared for the PDP in that report.He,in fact maintained the same stance he'd always ever since PDP started wooing him even while a Governor,that of everyone in the region working together regardless of political persuasion.

Go to Anambra and see what he did in the following areas:

Health

Education

Infrastructure development (Across all the communities not just the urban centers)

Agriculture

Job creation through attraction of FDIs and local investors


He did all these without borrowing a dime for 8years. Its a feat an ordinary Nigerian governors are yet to attain. Peter Obi and others..

Mr media spin doctor u have to do alot more than that. You're even shooting yourself and your boss in the foot. Anambra is not a top IGR generating state. A governor that doesn't borrow money and doesn't generate anything from IGR is a governor that relies only on federal allocations. Which begs the question of where he got the money to perform all the "miracles" you just listed.

Forget about the news paper generated IGR. All those states you claim that has higher IGR still went to capital market to raise bonds and all. It is about the background of the person in charge. Have you heard what Iwela meant when she said the Peter Obi was the most fiscally responsible governor in Nigeria? Let me tell you, you can manage your meager resources to achieve far above the person with bigger allocation. It all boils down to good management of resources and placing your priorities aright. Things will just fall in place..

Managing Director of World Bank, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, has described Governor Peter Obi of Anambra State as the most fiscally responsible governor in Nigeria.

Lol wayo man. Nothing like that in this article. She simply never said so, u just manufactired it. Bros I'm sure you have your reasons for loving Peter Obi but he simply hasn't done anything to merit being President except for the fact that he's Ibo. We cannot afford another "Jonathan" at the helm of our affairs. Our next President must be someone i must at least be proud of watching on cnn, unlike now where i switch off my tv in shame whenever my President is on.
