Are you sure about that? Nyako played a key role in the case that enabled the deputy to win as someone stated earlier.

What role if I may ask? Anyway, time will tell.

Is Mr Ngilari's action not subject to a legal suite against him knowing fully well that his letter was illegal? It was premeditated and intended to deceive the public.

And the house of assembly was foolish enough to accept it. Even if the speaker was jazzed, could the whole house be? None with their advisers could call for the rejection since it didn't follow due process.

If anyone claims the Deputy Gov decamped to APC, let him bring proof. The deputy cum Governor is still a full fledged PDP member, until he publicly declares his defection which is an un-wise move, he still remains in PDP.

Hi Guys, even though I want APC to have upper hand in the unfolding drama as I am tired of PDP wayo politics. It appears that this new development was all hatched by the evil party (PDP). Please see link.

http://www.peoplesdailyng.com/pdp-plots-to-foil-adamawa-re-run/

This news came out before the Abuja court read the judgement.

I really do not want adamawa to be available to PDP manipulation during 2015 presidential election. The more reason I want it in the hand of the opposition.

Since the Ag Governor Umar Fintri has appeal the judgement. The question is,will the election still hold on Saturday? And will Supreme court be able to give accelerated hearing and judgement before saturday? This is a serious constitutional crisis. We are learning democratically, and the Adamawa political game is getting more intresting.

Stop confusing yourself Ngilari was never an acting governor. He resigned while he was still deputy even b4 his boss impeachment process was concluded. And he was never a member of APC because he didn't follow his boss there when he moved. And to those saying he would move to APC now, U̶̲̥̅̊ better stop daydreaming. That man is not ready to start anoda drama. Better to just be at peace with the devil!
P.S:- thank God we still have judges who will stand for the truth no matter what. *Justice Ayo Salami on my mind
Pardon my mistake, I mistook Ngilari as the same person as Fintiri.

The Saturday election will only hold if the Appeals Court grants a "stay of execution" on the FHC ruling. The former court can't be by-passed in this matter.

That someone appeals a court decision is not final. You are expected to file a stay of execution of the judgment pending the determination of the appeal and the stay must be heard and granted.

However, while your appeal and your stay of execution are still pending, the judgment must be obeyed. No story. No constitutional crises. For me that guy would be sworn in and that would be the end. The house should not have accepted that letter. Except they do judicial abracadabra, the outcome would always be the same in Court of Appeal and finally in Supreme Court.

Where is the fate of Umaru Fintiri(Speaker) who wanted to become Governor of the state by all possible means? I beleive all nigerian politicians are corrupts not peculair to impeached Murtala Nyako alone, anyway Congratulation to NGILARI.
Re: Court Stops Adamawa Bye Election And Orders Swearing In Of Former Deputy Governo by kalishay: 2:29pm On Oct 08, 2014
This is politics. The sudden judgement by the fed.high court is to enable pdp retain the seat of the gov. This is because the possibility of fintiri (the now acting gov)Emerging as gov in the bye election slated satday is slim,so in order to prevent the mistake of apc gubernatorial aspirant getting the seat, they come with this plan for election earler schedule for saturday not to hold again. For ngalari he is PDP!!

There is God ooo!!!ol the seat they are sharing in Adamawa state

What role if I may ask? Anyway, time will tell.

Nyako testified in court he didnt receive any letter of resignation from his Deputy, thereby enhancing his case

The correct manner of resigning is for the Deputy to tender his letter to the Governor and not to the House or Speaker even if he did so.......it is not recognised by law

So in the chronology and sequence of event leading to the arrangee impeachment of Nyako, the Deputy should have become the Governor

Its high time they bring in Ayilala, Sango, Ahmadioha, Ogun, Sopono and the likes to use in swearing in this politicians. Let's see if fear no go grip their balls.
I support you! My professor once said that Nigerians no longer value the Bible and they can now swear falsely to it at ease. He suggested what he called 'jujuism' which is the only thing that would force these criminals and their cartel to have a rethink before swearing to an oath.
