MrArams:

I used GTB early this year for wire transfer and I think I got the telex copy after 5 business days...you don't need to worry much cos mine was sent to my email. You should receive your copy latest next week friday. How did you cope with all their charges?

Hmmm! Good you brought that up.... *sigh* those charges can cover another school fees for masters in naija... it wasnt easy bro...

5 business days tho... that's not cool o. I need to attach payment confirmation to my submission and I really want to submit ASAP cos I'm seeing nairalanders say processing takes about 8weeks and I want that to start counting like NOW.

Thanks tho

Broda, I actually meant you need to state your academic qualifications with the course read and the new course you're going for in Canada, to be able to know if there's any correlation btw previous academic qualificatn/work experience to what you're going for. Anyways you need to write a convincing statement of purpose as to why you chose the course, Canada and benefit to home country

Does your brother have dependants? If so, I'm afraid you need to pay your tuition to furthermore convince the Visa Officer... A visa officer will naturally assume that as long as you (the applicant) does not have the absolute discretion on how to spend the 7M (it's not in your account), then you haven't guaranteed that you will be able to sustain yourself financially.

All the best bro... I believe you still have time (but minimal) to reapply.

Cheers

Congrats man

Gbogbo house, ahh, me I thank you all for the congratulations ooO, but ehn, even me myself, I can't say what is and what isn't. Does it mean that when anyone gets medical instruction letter, their application has been approved? I don't want to just relax and say, it's been approved yet ooO until I get the final one that says, "bring your passport so we can give you visa", lool. Even though I thank God for getting me to this stage, prayers shall move from gear 2 to gear 3! grin And shall increase to 4 when I do the medicals.

We shall all get our admission letters, TRVs and Study Permits in Jesus Name (and for my muslim brothers n sisters, Inshallah!) smiley

1. Write a convincing SOP. you'll see the guidline some pages back
2. Proof of relationship to sponsor and what he/she stands to gain if not immediate family
3. Study leave letter and letter of intro from company
4. CV and anything you've got to proof you're not running away
5. Prayers

All the best sir!

I believe you gass work on ur SOP well, u can ask the bosses in d house to help you check it out after writing, u have to fill d gap concerning what ve been doing since march (as everyday of ur life since u turn 18 must be accounted for), and also if you can work a lil bit on ur SOA as ur program is 2 yrs (although i don't know how mch it costs). Better still if u can get a co-sponsor who has a landed property & d likes, works jus fine and of course prayers then u re-fire! #myopinionthough
