I will be using my farm camerron hybrid giant suckers for this project. With cucumber and watermelon seed from a friend's farm in Botswana.
Have directed my workers to go get 1500 suckers ready from our farm.
we sell these suckers for N150. We also have another type of hybrid sucker for N100

Well done Sir.

(1) Will plantain grow well in this grassland? Or you intend to use fertiliser? From experience plantain grows best on cleared thick forest land.

(2) Plantain planting season used to be around May to August with lots of rainfall to help growth. Is it that rain fall almost all round now you are planting now?

(3) How much is an acre (6 plots) of land for sale in Ewekoro/Ado-Odo area of Ogun state?

(4) The watermelon, how long is it from planting till harvest?
(5)Are you also into animal farming?

Thanks very much sir.

World1, my brother thanks for the succinct reply.

I'm just thinking aloud that irrigation would raise production cost, reducing profit.

Regarding this contract you are executing, are you going to be in charge till harvest?

Anyway, any discount on the 700k per acre in your area/Ewekoro? Is it anywhere near the WAPCO cement plant?

After 10 months/harvest, can the same land be immediately used to plant suckers again?

I have been enquiring about farmland around Atan Otta (Ado Odo) for a while, but Ewekoro is not too far.

Thanks.

I used to feel same until I attended an International Agribusiness conference in Ghana. People from most East African and even SOuthern African countries called plantains bananas and they even said they were tasting plantain for the first time. Bottom line = Different strokes for different folks.

World1, my brother thanks for the succinct reply.

I'm just thinking aloud that irrigation would raise production cost, reducing profit= capital No because irrigation will give you a lot of edge over other famers around you meaning you will be in business both off and on season.

Regarding this contract you are executing, are you going to be in charge till harvest?= No. It will be too expensive to keep me. There is no much to do after the planting since the major work is already done. We would teach him all to do.

Anyway, any discount on the 700k per acre in your area/Ewekoro? Is it anywhere near the WAPCO cement plant? Its a very good land I can sell for 650 if you buy more than 1

After 10 months/harvest, can the same land be immediately used to plant suckers again? By then you dont plant again you will continue to harvest every 4months

I have been enquiring about farmland around Atan Otta (Ado Odo) for a while, but Ewekoro is not too far.

Thanks.

Cucumber - As I always says: Great skin starts with Cucumber; If you really want your skin to be happy, your number one answer is cucumber. This is because, cucumber and skin is known to share the same level of hydrogen content, which makes it easier for cucumber to deal with the skin problems by engulfing them. It works well in soothing, softening, and relaxing your skin very quickly.

Cucumber can be eaten raw and is used for preparation of many kinds of food in Nigeria. Cultivating this vegetable will surely put money into your pockets.
