No law has been created.

No law will be created.

Nobody from the Catholic Church gave you that reason.

If you don't have facts, maybe you should shut up.[/........ hey mr catholic... Before u tell ur self to shut up.. It was said on The World right now with Hala Gorani on CNN last night... Your pope has been a pro gay for years now and was an advocate for civil union in Argentina when the issue of civil union was brought up for debate, but he lost out as other bishops kicked against it.. Source CNN- the world right now with hala gorani

Is that the law that changed?

Till tomorrow, homosexual acts are sinful according to Catholic teaching.

Till eternity.

One major problem with that document is that it recognised and praised homosexual union. This is a grave error.
beryl04:

"Without denying the moral problems connected to homosexual unions it has to be noted that there are cases in which mutual aid to the point of sacrifice constitutes a precious support in the life of the partners," the document said.

Someone cannot declare to the world that he is a fornicator, adulterer, an armed robber, etc and he takes pride in it, then expect the church to welcome him as a sworn armed robber or a fornicator. Homosexuals aren't asking Jesus or the church to forgive them of their sins or that they are willing to repent. They are asking the world and the church to accept their ways just as you have in a husband and wife. Don't you get it?

Just imagine having a group of husbands taking to the street that they have adulterous orientation and they should be accepted that way. or pedophiles asking for their right from state and church. And they want to be admitted into the Sacraments of the church.

They'll also need to stop opposing women's reproductive rights and discriminating against females. Even al-Qaeda has female leaders than the catholic church. How sexist must you be if Islamist terrorists are more progressive than you! I guess that's what happens when your whole organisation is a sausage-fest full of virgins and pederasts who have no wives or children and no clue about women's issues or the realities of modern family life.

For me, this is just another lame attempt to maintain their relevance. When even devout Catholics are increasingly routinely ignoring their nonsensical teachings on contraception, abortion and gay rights; I'm sure the Vatican can see which way the wind is blowing. The catholic church is already on life support in Europe. Young people in America are abandoning them in droves. And with increasing wealth and education, the third world won't be far behind. Their culture of child räpe, cover-ups and hypocrisy has cost them any shred of moral authority they have left. The fact is church is dying and they know it. Unfortunately its the same resistance to change that made them look so solid in the past that will be their undoing. Its fun to watch them flail around desperately looking for a solution. I feel like making some popcorn.

hahahahaha.

I pity the day humanity decided that killing the unborn is "reproductive right". You should be happy your mum didn't use he "reproductive right" on you. You would have been dead.

Interestingly the church doesn't discriminate against females, she insteads believes that each sex is created specially. Each with its own responsibilities.

there are positive aspects to everything, even if they are sins. Unless the person is totally mad.

Have you ever asked homosexuals why they are in a relationship?

I have never asked. I don't see any reason to want to. It's not something that should be justified because I think it's totally unnatural.

Moreover, the most important thing here is that it's a sin. Sin is a thing of shame, it beats me why someone would want his sinful lifestyle to be permitted and celebrated by the state and church. Pedophile will be the next. They will soon say they were born with such orientation.

There are some very very powerful influential people within the hierarchy of the catholic church and those people are determined it seems to resist adopting or giving their validation to any positive change in church attitudes towards gay people and homosexuality in general.

These same people seem to be determined to resist any attempt to encourage the church to adopt a more understanding, tolerant and compassionate attitude towards Queers. "It's not right" they wail ( as if they and they alone have the monopoly on rightness or that they and they alone are in a position to judge and decide what is " right" for others?

Or " we' re traditionalists" they say... " we believe in a " traditional" interpretation of scripture when it comes to the issue of homosexuality and homosexual relationships"... but perhaps in this case the word " traditional" could be replaced with the word outdated? It could be replaced with the words outdated, irrelevent, outmoded, archaic etc etc. The thing is that the catholic church really isn't doing itself any favours in the eyes of many by clinging to outdated attitudes and beliefs about gay folk. All it really does is make itself look a bit of a fool. When many smart rational intelligent folks look at the catholic church and the christian religion in generals attitude towards gay people many of them decide that they simply don't want anything to do with such an organisation or it's parent religion. That surely has to be worrying for the church especially when many of those people are young and energetic but because of its teachings and attitudes they choose to invest their time and energy elsewhere......

The Pope needs to neutralise the most reactionary Cardinals & other prelates, by lowering the retirement/ voting age, & then creating Cardinals who would support reform. Even then reform will not happen overnight & those opposing Pope Francis might remove him (remember the rumours about John Paul I ? ) . The Vatican wouldn't exist architecturally, sculpturally, artistically without the efforts of Michaelangelo, Leonardo, Donatello & many other homosexuals, they even have a Francis Bacon. Not to mention the Gay Popes & Cardinals.. . . . How can they live & work surrounded by all that sin ?? Sarcasm intended.

The document goes beyong accepting homosexuality. The document also said things about accepting divorce, cohabitation and other things. All these are against scripture.

It's the bible and church prophecies coming true in our time. It goes to show how serious the time we live.

Forty-One Bishops Oppose New Vatican Document

14 Oct 2014, 11:48 AM PDT

Vatican -- Opposition increases in Rome as gays celebrate, traditional Catholics fret, bishops complain, and no one seems to be able to explain exactly what the document released Monday means for the Catholic Church.

Late Monday night, experienced hands with connections to Synod fathers were saying the bishops felt blindsided by the content of the document released Monday that is supposed to inform the ongoing discussions among more than 180 bishops meeting the rest of this week at the Vatican. The document seems to break new ground on Catholic teaching on the acceptance of homosexuality, cohabitation, and communion for the divorced and the remarried.

No less than 41 bishops rose in protest of the document after it was read to them and while the document was being presented to the Vatican press corps. Noted Vatican journalist Sandro Magister reported:

Under the gunfire of aroung 41 interventions, Cardinals Pell [Secretary for the Economy], Ouellet [Prefect for Bishops], Filoni [Prefect for Propaganda Fide], Dolan [of New York], Vingt-Trois [of Paris], Burke [Prefect of Apostolic Signatura], Rylko [President of Laity], Müller [Prefect of Doctrine of the Faith], Scola [of Milan], Caffarra [of Bologna] among others spoke up, all against an opening to second marriages as proposed by Cardinal Kasper, who also intervened.

Monday afternoon, Lifesite News interviewed Cardinal Burke, who said the Synod had been “manipulated by the organizers of the General Secretariat,” and he called on Pope Francis to intervene. Burke said:

The faithful and their good shepherds are looking to the Vicar of Christ for the confirmation of the Catholic faith and practice regarding marriage which is the first cell of the life of the Church.

....

The document lacks a solid foundation in the Sacred Scriptures and the Magisterium. In a matter on which the Church has a very rich and clear teaching, it gives the impression of inventing a totally new, what one Synod Father called ‘revolutionary’, teaching on marriage and the family. It invokes repeatedly and in a confused manner principles which are not defined, for example, the law of graduality.

As is obvious from the pointed interventions of 41 bishops Monday morning, Burke is far from alone among Synod bishops in his concern and opposition to the document. Though not in the Synod itself, the head of the Polish Episcopal Conference told Vatican Radio that the document was unacceptable.

Controversial passages have angered Bishops and laity alike. Sandro Magister points to the Italian Archbishop Forte, who was among the presenters of the document.

The document is now in the hands of “small circles,” groups of Synod Bishops grouped according to language. Their work will conclude this week, and the final document will go to the larger Synod scheduled for next October.

Below is an interview Cardinal Burke did with Raymond Arroyo:

A wrong move by the Vatican. There was never a time the Church was hard on the homosexuals. The gays and lesbians have always been a part of the church community as long as they don't openly display or promote their sexuality. Thus there's no need for this "dramatic shift" unless if the Church wants us to believe that homosexuality isn't a sin.

The church prophecies are exactly being fulfilled today under Bergoglio. Approved apparitions as LaSalette, Akita, and recent prophecies.
.............

In fact the Philippine ambassador to the Vatican, in 1998 spoke to Cardinal Ratzinger about Akita and the Cardinal: "personally confirmed to me that these two messages of Fatima and Akita are essentially the same". Hence in Akita we are dealing with a Church approved intervention of the Blessed Virgin Mary as sure in this respect as Lourdes, La Salette, or Fatima.

Only a few Catholics know of Our Lady of Akita but the message, like that of Fatima, is a specific warning of worldwide chastisement. The chastisement threatened is truly terrible – far worse than the possibility of annihilation of several nations prophesied at Fatima. Akita is absolutely consistent with prophecies of Scripture.

The first message received by Sister Agnes Katsuko Sasagawa on June 6, 1973, was a call for prayer and sacrifice for the glory of the Father and salvation of souls. The second message, August 3, 1973, was for prayer, penance and courageous sacrifices to soften the Father's anger.

The third message on October 13, 1973, the actual anniversary of the final visions and miracle of Fatima is as follows: "As I told you, if men do not repent and better themselves, the Father will inflict a terrible punishment on all humanity. It will be a punishment greater than the deluge, such as one will never have seen before. Fire will fall from the sky and will wipe out a great part of humanity, the good as well as the bad, sparing neither priests nor faithful. The survivors will find themselves so desolate that they will envy the dead. The only arms which will remain for you will be the Rosary and the Sign left by my Son. Each day, recite the prayers of the Rosary. With the Rosary, pray for the Pope, the bishops and the priests. The work of the devil will infiltrate even into the Church in such a way that one will see cardinals opposing cardinals, and bishops against other bishops. The priests who venerate me will be scorned and opposed by their Confreres. The Church and altars will be vandalized. The Church will be full of those who accept compromises and the demon will press many priests and consecrated souls to leave the service of the Lord.

"The demon will rage especially against souls consecrated to God. The thought of the loss of so many souls is the cause of my sadness. If sins increase in number and gravity, there will no longer be pardon for them."

In his pastoral letter approving the events of Akita as supernatural, the Bishop of Niigata said: "After the inquiries conducted up to the present day, one cannot deny the supernatural character of a series of unexplainable events relative to the statue of the Virgin honored at Akita (Diocese of Niigata). Consequently I authorize that all of the diocese entrusted to me venerate the Holy Mother of Akita."

Concerning the messages, His Excellency said: "As for the content of the messages received, it is no way contrary to Catholic doctrine or to good morals. When one thinks of the actual state of the world, the warning seems to correspond to it in many points." His Excellency explained that he had taken eight years to give this judgment because of the importance and the responsibility in question. "The Congregation of the Doctrine for the Faith has given me directives in this sense," the Bishop said, "that only the bishop of the diocese in question has the power to recognize an event of this kind."

The events of Akita have been confirmed by definite miracles, two of which are cited by the Bishop in his pastoral letter. While the warning given by Our Lady at Akita is terrible, the message, as the Bishop points out, is basically a repetition of the Message of Fatima. Our Lady stressed the importance of praying the Rosary, and above all of accepting from God whatever He may send in the course of each day . . . whatever suffering . . . and to offer it up in reparation for so many sins committed throughout the world at this time. Our Lady begged especially for prayers for bishops, priests, and religious, and for reparation before the Blessed Sacrament. Our Lady said: "I have prevented the coming of calamities by offering to the Father, together with all the victim souls who console Him, the sufferings endured by the Son on the Cross, by His blood and by His very loving Soul. Prayer, penance, and courageous sacrifices can appease the anger of the Father."

Why don't you just trust in the Holy Spirit?

Akita was approved. LaSalette has even a stronger message about 'a future Pope'.

Maria Divine Mercy is one among recent messages talking about the Pope and a coming division between a Schismatic one world church/religion and a faithful remnant.

He defends the scripture, the scripture says the church is the pillar and foundation of truth. You disrespect the pope in a way, calling him Begoglio, That is Pope Francis, the reigning pontiff. To him the lord had said, "feed my sheep".

When a Pope is refusing to do what is right he automatically is excommunicating himself. That's Canon law for you. His interviews, even this month, are a disaster. I have never seen a Pope refusing to defend the faith. He is being cunning and he equivocates in his sermons.

Akita was approved. LaSalette has even a stronger message about 'a future Pope'.

Maria Divine Mercy is one among recent messages talking about the Pope and a coming division between a Schismatic one world church/religion and a faithful remnant.

Again I tell you, separate from those apparitions this your invisible hand behind the keyboard called maria divine mercy. You will be filled with fear, the devil can foretell what he has planned for the future, yet he needs God to allow or twart that plan of his.
