Could it be that a non-CL club like United has fans that are criticising Liverpool for losing to Real Madrid? cheesy

It's like the case of a man walking down the road laughing at another man whose lexus has a flat tyre. cheesy cheesy

of What use is a lexus if you can't drive it?

Why qualify for the champions league if you can't win your home games?

They beat Ludogorets didn't they? Besides, where is the rule written that you 'must' win your home games? Qualification for the next round is key.

Whether you can drive the Lexus or not, the status remains. cheesy

No further comments at the emboldened.

If Ludo-whatever is your idea of a Lexus, I'd rather walk.
Na your Arsenal dey everly stroll for UCL since na to mark register for UCL be their own every year. At least we at United have titles in this competition as well as Forest and Villa. That is the status, not this hot sun air you are blowing here.Where is Arsenal's European trophy?

Every simpleton knows the basic thing to do for qualification is to win your home games. Stop bringing issues that don't existinto this argument. You ain't a novice even if you support the SI Unit for failure in Europe.

My point has always been that in recent times especially last 3yrs EPL is not the best league and that goes to Spain, while Bundesliga comes second to Spain

Results back it up both clubside and National Teams

Now EPL legends like Lineker are beggining to see the light what I spoke of 3yrs ago

Nah, the Lexus is CL participation - you don't get to choose your opponents. Even mighty Real will have to play Ludogorets. cheesy

Simple answer - ' get am before' no be property. cheesy

The basic thing to do is get the points - regardless of whether it's at home or away. Besides, Liverpool has won a home game, so your point is moot on both fronts.

Which could be likened to the "undrive-able" Lexus.
You have something you cannot use and you are forming status.

The easiest way would be to win your home games.
Again it's no rocket science.

Maybe after match day 4 when Liverpool still have 3 points from 4 games and needing a miracle to qualify will the reality of the CL sink in.

Not really - till a team is knocked out, they can still win it. Neither Liverpool nor Arsenal have been knocked out.

Agreed.

Till then - even needing a miracle is no reason to lose hope, just ask Ludogorets who qualified even with 10 men and no goalkeeper. cheesy

So why are we going back and forth if we know the shortest path to a target?

I can see your foray in the religious section of NL is giving you a broader perspective.
Except that there are no miracles in football for me.

How come when they won it not long ago and made both q/final and semi final last season.

Results back it up both clubside and National Teams
We are talking about EPL, I've no business with their National team

And every achievement of the EPL in CL in the last 3 seasons, the BL has surpassed

this yr Buli has performed better than EPL in every game week

Last yr they both stopped at the semi

2 yrs ago ALl Buli CL finals while the furthest an EPL side got was quarters

And its the league performance that translates into NT performance. SPain CL dominance coincided with Spain WCup win, Germanys dominance brought the recent W CUp win

You can also check the nominations for UEFA top 11 every for the last 3 seasons and lets know how many EPL players made it

I actually am impressed. I only hope he will not becone a jet rider and forget his comrades.

meanwhile back to your argunent.
UEFA coefficient on club football supports your argument only on behalf of la liga. If im correct the EPL follows la liga and is some way ahead of your Bundesliga.

Plus I really dont think using recent results is an accurate barometer to guage issues like these. BATE Borisov beating Bilbao in matchday two or Olympiakos beating Juventus makes that line of argument not complete.

The UEFA coefficient is over 5 yrs the major advantage EPL has over Bundesliga was in the 2010/2011 season Since then its been at par or Buli having the advantage

3yrs would be a good enough barometer for recent performance which the Bundesliga had an all German final, Bayern made the semi and the performances this week

If over a period of 2-3 seasons, Greek teams progresses in the CL more than Italian teams then it would make sense to deduce that the Greek league is better

Borisov /Belarus has not consistently outperformed La Liga teams nor has Greek teams consistently outperformed Italian

But going by CL progress between EPL vs German teams, player nominations for UEFA team of the season by the time you add NT performances you would see one thing, English game is falling behind

and they said januzaj is ready at this level....
i have never seen a more gutless player. he doesn't even understand the difference between a league game & a friendly football.

he just caresses the ball to no effect, he never went past his marker at any point. send this dude to blackpool till january, abeg. our attack on the right side today was hopeless only because of him.

RVP's only contribution in 90 mins was the shot that hit the post. mata contributed zero. januzaj is hopeless.......jones was an airhead for stepping out in their second goal - left rafael in a no man's land.

credits to blind, fellaini, rafael & herrera, di maria. shaw & rojo were half decent. others were just piss-poor. LVG should never ever try this 4-1-4-1 formation again. we had nothing positive through the middle....that's disturbing.
i will still say it again jeremy boga>>januzaj
