Heck, the world map, and atlas Christopher Columbus used for his voyage to the Americas was a Moorish map. Lol, I have seen folks talk brazenly about, "if the Brits had be allowed to colonise us longer, we would have been better" without knowing that the Brits left out of their own free-will cos the Nigerian project wasn't that profitable to them any longer. And the only reason why they built South Africa was because the plan was to make it another Australia.

Heck, the Brits never even developed Nigeria that much, apart from the rail tracks they built for plundering the resources and shipping them to the coast. And the schools they built were primarily for their own families out here, and for the influence of the missionaries. Some would even argue that the slave returnees contributed more to colonial Nigeria than the Brits ever did.

China tried in Vietnam, they got their asses handed to them in 1967 when the Vietnamese were killing them like rats. They tried to invade Vietnam in other to save Cambodia but it was a humiliating defeat.
