NairaMode: With all sincerity of purpose all have shared i did after struggling alot with my inner self about the moral justification. Then i felt just maybe if Mr. Folorunsho knws the truth abt himself he will position better and channel his intelligence with reasonings. Have watched alot go wrong and bootlickers too loyal to spill d bean. In actual sense,my mission has been accomplished. Am sure his 'right people' and upcoming staffs will understand why someone had to do this sooner or later. On my final appearance here i did like to thank everyone whoever took out time to view this page. I will like to state emphatically too that I AM NOT DISGRUNTLED with True rebel, contrary to this, have been one of the few that benefitted from True rebel as a worker within 2 month i was given the huge task of managing the store; as a former employee, am glad to inform that am now practising everything Mr. Folorunsho taught me ignorantly...Am presently working with youngsters like me and we have built our site and will be launching our own ecommerce business sooner than can be imagined. All in all...It's being a pleasure....True rebel i wish you the best but change your ways...the law of power says use people to achieve results but never asked to use them as trash.... True business men don't experiment they execute a well researched and confirmed business model. PEACE! 36 Likes 1 Share |

For me,having read both sides which is of cause, very intelligent and well explained points,i will say this explanations deserves to be where every true rebel customer (whether current, intending or past) should read before making a move about this guy's product..This should be on their facebook page..Tell people what they are buying..Don't deceive them please..And really,i'm already consulting with some media houses to see how True Rebel can come into the public as a case study..But for now, investigation about them will continue untill we have all we want for publicity.. 9 Likes |

We only read your post but can open to see your heart to know who is the liar. Remember the bible says Do unto others what you want men to do to you. If you make people cry for your laughter, you will never escape the wrath of God.. Also if the op willingly decided to paint the company black, then expect the wrath of God. . Op please forget about the man, God will pay you for he sees every mind. Waiting to se the end of the wicked ( both he and his children). 4 Likes |

I am using this medium to call on Standard Organization of Nigeria (SON) and all law enforcement agencies to prosecute all importers of fake products in Nigeria and to protect Nigerians from the consumption of fake products and exploitation. I also call on the general public not to keep mute but to report any importer of fake products to Standard Organization of Nigeria (SON) and all relevant agencies and authorities for appropriate action. How will you feel spending your hard earn money to buy a product and later discover in 3 to 21 days that the product you have invested so much on is fake or have started fading in couples of days or weeks. It will be so disheartening and annoying. I have fall a victim to such and so also majority of us, instead of keeping mute and continuously allowing these importers of fake products to defraud us and also damaging our economy while they accumulate wealth for themselves and their family, lets us put hands together and expose these ones to the appropriate authorities. An example of such companies that continues to import millions of fake products and defraud Nigerians is the True Rebel Fashion Company is a fashion e-commerce venture that was recently launched 2014. The company specializes in the nationwide retail of jewelry items offering a payment on delivery service Nationwide. The company was founded by Mr. Muyiwa Folorunso . The company is located at Number 13 Munirat Aleje Street, Ikorodu, Lagos. You can visit the website and facebook page at www.truerebel.com.ng and www.facebook/truerebelafrica for details. Truerebel Fashion Company deals mainly with imported fake jewelry from China, Importing from china itself is not bad, but Mr. Muyiwa Folorunso find delight in importing low grade (fake) jewelries from China so as to defraud Nigerians and maximize high returns on investment without considering the consumers of this products. I was privileged to work as a Communication Executive with the said company and was provided with an android phone for the purpose of chatting and communicating with potential and existing client. The company sells in wholesale prices and targets retailers or customers who is trading or wants to trade on jewelries on a small scale. Large proportion of the customers who purchase jewelries from the company complain bitterly about the product low quality, some also threaten to return the jewelries after purchase from the company, while others also threaten to arrest the management of the company with police. The truth is that, large number of the jewelries imported from China by Truerebels gets fading after 3 to 21 days of purchase from the company. Some wear out or fade off right inside the store. Though the jewelries are very beautiful but have no value in them. Truerebels import millions of fake jewelries from China. At a time when all the jewelries at the store was almost fading off, he bought a chemical to wash them all to keep the jewelries shinning, yet he still sells them at exorbitant prices. Despite the fact that these jewelries are fake, they are also very expensive. For instance, the price of bracelet at konga , Jumia and Tafoo is N600, Truerebel will sell theirs for N1,000. We have numerous examples of that. When Truerebel boss saw that the market was so competitive and he was experiencing low patronage from client, he was forced to bring down the prices of jewelries to enable him make sales. You can visit their site www.truerebel.com.ng or http://facebook.com/truerebelafrica to see their fake jewelries. Nigerians, this is the time to say no to Fake products and report any cases to Standard Organization of Nigeria (SON) and all appropriate agencies so as to save our fellow Nigerians from being defrauded and protect our economy. Our hard earning and foreign exchange is being eroded by these greedy merchants without a heart and would continue to make Nigerian poorer. Another serious fraud against unsuspecting applicant is his cunning way of getting rid of staff within 2 to 3 weeks of employment without pay. I notice that every 2 – 3 weeks this company placed advert for staff at www. and www.nairaland.com and I thought it was a very big company in need of staff to pursue it’s expanding policy until I became a victim of this scam. All staff are employed with a condition of working for a week as a trial period without pay and at the end of the first week he would ask you to resume normal duty as staff with a promise of issuing you employment letter before the weekend which never come before you are terminated on the second or third week without pay. This he does under the guise of introducing weekend jobs and forcing the staff to come contrary to terms of employment or become fault finder overnight. I called on all unsuspecting applicant to be wary of this company as he would employ miscreant to beat up anyone who dears to challenge him for his pay or threaten to use law enforcement agent to deal with you by bringing false charges against you. If you have fallen a victim of the said company as a customer, or a worker who has work with this company before you can drop your experience or phone number www.nairaland.com/1974707/truerebel-fashion-company-flood-nigerian 23 Likes 7 Shares |

I so much believe in laying the cards on the table ab initio, in order to give room for understanding. Now, understanding matters a lot, and I see no understanding/rapport between the employer and the employees. Take for instance, The employer made mention of staffs coming to work on Saturday, which was different from the initial agreement as claimed by the employees, but failed to tell the house if there were some sort of compensation attached to the extra working period, taking into cognizance the importance of weekends to employee. The employer made mention of employees being paid according to achievable targets, if this is in mutual agreement, I see no reasons laying them off just for not coming to work on a said weekend as the money they earn depends on their output. Apologies though. The company will grow, but a tree can never make a forest. It takes understanding, teamwork, unity and commitment to achieve maximum output. Its not easy to be an employer of labour most especially in our present day Nigeria but let there be equity as to how we treat one another. #Peace. 15 Likes |

@truerebel and @lummyguy, haven read both stories I can readily relate to both emotions. @truerebel, pay more attention to human resources and legal arm of your business. From what I have read, you sometimes take drastic steps before realizing you were too harsh. RULE NO 1: NEVER CALL BACK AN EMPLOYEE YOU HAVE FIRED UNLESS YOU ARE ON A MISSION. (same employee is equally on a mission). @lummyguy, NEVER SLAM A DOOR BEHIND YOU WHEN YOU ARE LEAVING BECAUSE YOU MIGHT NEED SAME DOOR TO WALK THROUGH SOME DAY. The world is way too small for these acts of yours to a former employer. I think you both have alot to learn on www.topflightceo.com 4 Likes |

lummyguy: Not true. You will never understand till you start your own business. He might have some pride issues but with time he would learn. I wanted to accuse True rebel (and I know he has his issues) but I had to realise that employees just want to be paid without adding value to the organisation and what is the nonsense of earning N9,000 and bringing N300,000 into the company. Why should employees sit down and start to evaluate another persons problems. Do they have any clue of the overheads that is incurred? It is a new business and all that business needs is cash else it goes bankrupt. For truerebel, if it is true that you sell sub-standard products, you will run out of business because customers will not longer trust you. Honestly, even if you are so nice I will have doubts buying your product based on the write up here. So you need to revamp your entire inventories, change your suppliers and gain the trust and confidence of your customer. You cannot blame the climate conditions of the country for the quality of your product. Also, try to pay your staff too. I understand some are lazy, wicked, never reliant and just want to play around and get paid. Draw up a contract agreement for them, also get their buy-in and execute. Remember they are humans with emotions too, since it is a start-up don't be too bossy. Be nice but firm. 7 Likes |

Who ever put this thread to the front page is so silly and immature. I know Obiniscopy won't do such crazy thing. Why just hearing from a bunch of LAZY employees and even after truerebel explained his own side of the story this nonsense was still done. I can see aggrieved employees are bent on bringing this man's business down. Truerebel, if you had an employment letter and contract signed by your previous employees especially the TRAITOR and GREEDY FELLOW called lummyguy you can bring them all to their knees either by paying heavy fines or sending them behind bars for damages. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED LET ME KNOW. Judgement on them will be passed within a month. Lummyguy, was so quick to steal his boss's idea only to want to sell it to the highest bidder on nairaland and even went as far as setting up a similar business. Shame on you @lummyguy. As far as none of truerebel's clients can come out and testify he sold them fake goods, you his employees are playing with litigation (if he wants to make case with you guys). I am NOT supporting truerebel in anyway, but the manner this was put on front page is ABSOLUTELY WRONG. When the likes of Inspiredm were found guilty of taking millions from customers without delivering their vehicles to them, seun and his moderators tried to kick the cases under the carpet and even deleted the thread. SO MUCH INJUSTICE ON NAIRALAND. 3 Likes |
