You can't be serious not with the way African men are aggressive toward women in the US, especially towards African women.

Back in my struggle years when I was still saving up for my car, I would take the train into the city for classes/work, and holy crap between that and other scenarios, they put the fear of God in me. I've taken steps, but anyhow, very unlike their women I'm still not comfortable around AA men. I've met some exceptions tho. We have a young, African American microbiologist on our team, and he's pretty awesome.

Ps a lot of black American men believe that they are God's gift to women, so they don't expect to hear the word no.

My experience of Africa as a whole is limited to a couple of visits to my own country, life in Egypt, and growing up around 'Americanized Africans'. That's all I've had to work with.

African men are alot more aggressive than Affrican American men in the US when it comes to approaching women (especially AA women) they aren't smooth at all and can be kind of scary, it's not that they aren't attractive, we just aren't use to the I'M MAN YOU WOMAN approach.

Isn't that stereotyping AA men? Truth be told they can be very aggressive, but one might argue those ones are products of their environment. Egyptian men and Arabs as a whole are very aggressive, can we blame their environment or its the culture?
