The man laughed when I told him my pocket got holes.. to the extent that he gave me some liters of paint out of pity.

As promised.. this is some of the paints supplied by Gbadexy

First two-tone blue painted (Living rooms) with just one coat, two other coats will be applied... the coverage of this emulsion paint is fantastic.
Blue color compliment of Spyder...

My brother complained that the photos are not doing these paints any justice... may I will get better photos later..

Re: Thread For Property Owners On Types Of Paint & Pictorial Documentation by mufutau55(m): 4:03am On Nov 09, 2014
Exterior, painter just started, freshly painted... also one coat so far... if one coat can be this deep imagine when 2 or 3 coats are applied..
I bought excess paint because I want more coats and needed all the colors to come out.. Thanks for the good price Gbadexy.
Excellent coverage on the paints, my Painter was amazed and thinks it's Dulux. smiley

Thank you Euromilion... he charged N55K but I usually give them more (TIPS) if they do a good work and he will do more coats.
Remember he will also paint those burglary proof (the red paint is just Red-Oxide for anti-rust) and also he will paint the exterior (permimeter) concrete floor like we usually do here.. He was surprised when I said I wanted the floor painted.. because the floor paints is special and very expensive, but since I did not use interlocking tiles, I want it looking good.

@hajji good job do you ask the paint manufacture life span of the paint, or in another word when or how long will the paint start to fading for repaint.

Thank you for bringing this up.

@kopeli
The duration of paints basically depends on the grade/quality.
But the textured paint supplied to my clients here would last excess of 10 years before it needs repainting.
Good quality grade textured paints are much durable than regular emulsion paint except eggshell matte which is basically satin emulsion paint that has been dulled (matted) to reduce the sheen.
Re: Thread For Property Owners On Types Of Paint & Pictorial Documentation by kopell: 5:09pm On Nov 17, 2014
Thanks for the quick respond 10 years is good enough for repainting, money well spend. Take care bro.

Yeah! Ten years is a long time... My brother was very happy when the paints was used... The paint is very good, he said.

This man's (Gbadexy) support after is sale is too good.. The man goes to my site and supervise the painting like he was my Contractor, and he is only supposed to just supply the paints.. What else can you ask from him... Good products and good service plus support is the best. His suggestions is always at best... I am waiting to see what wonders he will perform when the Main Building (Duplex) is finished and I indulge his services.
I highly recommend him, and thanks to NL1960 who initially used his products and recommended him to me.

How much of this stucco paint is required to paint a room lets say 12ft by 14ft? need more details

gbadexy:
Stucco paint.
This paint is applied with trowel and polished with a special stainless trowel to give a very smooth finish.
The application method gives it the various patterns and designed.
Its for big boys. And I know that my own stucco paste can be cleaned due to my own formulation. Can't say for other brands.
Re: Thread For Property Owners On Types Of Paint & Pictorial Documentation by enrilove12: 5:12am On Nov 20, 2014
how much is this graffitex paint per drum? thanks

gbadexy:
This is graffitex. Its applied mostly outdoors and its more of a plaster than paint.
Its very thick and strong.
This must be the most durable coating.
Its made of mostly silica (treated smooth sand) and other paint materials.
Up to 5 drums of these paint would be required to paint a room.

You would need up to 2 drums for a room of that size.
I understand the appliers charge per meters square but I sell mine for N24,000 per drum.
The grafftex plaster is N7000 per drum. However, because the application is quite thick (which is why its very though and durable) it has much lower spread rate.
You may need 4-6 drums of it to cover a room. It has spread rate of 6-7 sqm per drum.

By drum, I meant 20 litres. Some people prefer it to be called bucket but that is how is referred to as in the paint manufacture circle.
