Good morning
My mum has been to see djdola and can confirm that he is genuine
She saw him and spoke to him and his family
I am on the road now and can't write much and even lost my first post
Mum collected some of his documents and photocopied them
I am not in town so will collect them from her and post them here in a few days to prove that this young man is very genuine

He is genuine and desperately needs help
This seems quite convincing, but it seems chaircover never uploaded those documents that her mum photocopied. I can't seem to find them.

Seun for God sakes,i do not see why you can not go through posts, why are you making it look like you are bigger than others that took time to read through the pages? Please stop the question ans answer tingy.

You've made THREE replies to his questions on this page alone, and in none of them have you provided anything like a reasonable answer.

Asking a busy person to read through 40 pages to get an answer you likely already have is just plain silly. There's a man's life at stake here, and Nairaland has an immense reach. Provide him with the answer and stop acting the oaf here.

booqee:
marcjane and chaircovers mum went there

Thank you. Chaircover is a pretty well respected, long-time nairalander. If she says it's cool, I'll go with that. I'll see what I can do.

This isn't the right time to ask but I would love to know the history behind the illness; so others can learn.

I sincerely wish the OP a safe & quick recovery.

While some might see a reason to judge Mr Seun; people who understand the situation in Nigeria and the corporate world would know the reasons behind the delay.

Take for instance; you just cannot walk into any organisation (say a BANK) and ask people to give you money. There are rules and guildelines behind every organisation.

Some of you work in organisations where relatives and girlfriends aren't allowed entry during work hours.

Even in reputable charity organisations, it takes time, processes and scrutiny before any help is suggested/rendered.

Lets not shift blames on Mr Seun. He has done so much for Nigerians and Nigeria.

Overall, I strongly believe OP will come out strong regardless of his health history; I'm patiently waiting for a feedback.

Ok, I don't know marcjane but I know chaircover. I will try to find chaircover's posts on this thread. It takes a lot of time to sift through.
what exactly are you looking for?
There are two physical confirmation that the case is genuine
Chaircover who is a member of TeHN instructed her 80 year old retired Healthcare professional mum to help confirm the case after which we officially announce the confirmation on this thread.

The case is genuine and you shouldn't try and divert the attention/focus of the thread Mr

So even if the full amount is raised, due to Nigerian healthcare system limitations, he may still not make it, unless a miracle happens?
exactly! That is why babyosisi and some other medical workers strongly suggested going abroad (India to be precise) or UCH which is still ok compared to the general healthcare system in Nigeria.

Going abroad might be the best option but it involves a lot of coordination that you guys aren't taking into account.
The urgent need is for him to be stabilized then next steps can be ironed out in parallel

She didnt upload them because a number of us asked that it shouldnt be uploaded to prevent scammers from using it to enrich their pockets. If you want to see it, just ask her for them, she releases it to genuine nairaland users and meical professionals who may want to figure a thing or two out.

Now that it appears that all your questions have been answered, could you kindly place the thread back on the front page?
Thank You smiley smiley

As far as am concerned,d op's case needs a multispecialist approach.Any doctor trying to tell d op dat his case can b solved by him/her alone in his/her private hosp is not being true to his/her training.
This Abeaokuta idea is not it for me.Y can't d family b persuaded to take him to UCH direct, den wt d cash resources so far available, publicising his case& some influential contacts being made @UCH by nlanders who can,I bliv we wud a better outcome.
Let's not 4get,evn if a transplant wud b needed,a referral wt all workup done on him from a tertiary hosp in nig wud hasten things up for him.

What do u need it for now? Aren't you convinced enough.. she decided not to upload it so some scammers don't turn it to an opportunity to seek funds for selfish purpose.

In fact marcjane went there again this morning.. she met them praying and preparing to go to the Abeokuta hospital (awojobi erewa is the hospital name)

Re: I Need Help by chival(f): 2:06pm On Nov 10, 2014
@Seun: first off, the fact that you do not know marcjane does not discredit her nor her efforts and findings on this case. The op has a chronic liver disease which has degenerated to ascites. He has been to luth but he isn't satisfied with the service he got there.

From the look of things, he might need a liver transplant but because of certain restrictions(funds and time) that may not be feasible right away.

I believe as of now he is en route abeokuta or already at te hospital there. I read all 40 pages so should you need more information, ask.

Dear OP, you can see Nigerians are very good people. God bless the nairalanders who showed concern.

However, I'd like to let you know that money wouldn't be enough, even while people are extending great hands of help in order to get you a better medical care, I want you to know you need God now more than ever.

Even the medical experts agree only God cures at the end of it all.

I am not here to preach religion, I'm just asking you to seek JESUS at this time. He is the ultimate HEALER - Jehovah Rapha.
While getting your treatment, please seek Him in your own advantage.

I tried calling your number to pray for you, but its not being picked.

I DECREE A MIRACULOUS HEALING FOR YOU IN JESUS MIGHTY NAME! AMEN.

She doesnt have to upload the documents here,we know how nigerians can be they can start collecting money in his name/illness from people without a dime getting to Op. If you need any verification pls let her mail you privately

Ascitis is clearly visible as its a symptom and needs no test at this stage to confirm. Ascitis is a reaction to an underlying problem and for Ascitis to show up as a symptom then its CLD thats the root cause. do you get it now? Even though it may have a link to his pancreas but its more likely to be CLD due to other symptoms which the OP has also raised. I believe the pains he feels in his stomach comes whenever he manages to eat anything (please OP confirm this). His spleen and liver may be bigger than normal at this time so cannot be missed on a scan. besides that a laporoscopic intrusion has to be done to get a biopsy of his liver so as to check for cancerous growths..

You guys just dont get it. This Is not a broken leg or a headache or diarrhea. THIS IS CLD and its an emergency. This guy needs to be in ICU at this point. There are other things that accompany CLD and these also need to be handled so lets not assume its as simple as saying "take him to this and that hospital" the doctors here cannot handle this. He needs a to be on a ventilator, a heart monitor, a dialisis machine and while waiting for a transplant, a diversionary pipe hooked up to his liver in order to rest and divert blood flow around it. He is at risk of internal bleeding and a gradual dysfunction of other internal organs( already he is complaininh of his inability to pass urine) HE NEEDS TO BE FLOWN OUT AND NOW!

Hmmm...only God can keep up with the number of google/e-Doctors diagnosis you have come up with, hian. I stopped counting at 10 lipsrsealed

Until the type and cause of liver damage is ascertained by the necessary tests required, nobody knows the prognosis, mortality, etc of this case...And depending on the patient's liver health and general health, his liver disease might just be one that require being given diuretics or insulin or antiviral drugs or laxatives or testosterone or radiation therapy or Chemo or strict diet restriction or liver transplantation or etc.
