how many goals has rooney scored in a world cup game? my memory tells me he was in 2006, 2010 & 2014 world cup tourneys.

even with his enormous failure - he's still the white pele. they bring up irrelevant stats - the highest goal scorer for club & country.

rooney had his england debut at 17. he's now 29. he's played consecutively for 12 years and he has only 43 international goals to show for it.
