STENON:
Hello, Good day to everybody.
@imperioxxx, zeezahbee,slimmy05,walspring, doctormalik and other great people on this forum,

Please I'm asking this question based on one of my friends.

He got withdrawal from medicine and surgery at OAU in 300 level, they gave him an alternative to go and start frm 200 level in other departmnt, so he's now studying child Development and Family studies.
He is so much interested in going for medicine and surgery in US.
Please is it possible for him to apply and start as an undergraduate in medicine and surgery, with GA for tuition waiver prior to his present Undergraduate discipline, or pls is it possible to apply as a transfer studnt for medicine and surgery after he has graduated, with reference to his undergraduate discipline and without attending the pre medicine sch in US?
He is ready to write all standardized exams.

Thanks for your usual help...

Fellow NLders,

I am prospecting a Graduate Certificate in Business Program at University of Michigan, Flint Campus for Fall2015. I choose a Graduate Certificate Program because, I currently have HND Accountancy (upper credit) with 10 year corporate experience.

I would like to know if there is anyone that have gotten Study Visa with a Graduate Certificate Program on the America student visa...... I am very sure of that in the Canada Forum.

Regards.

stenon, is your friend omo baba olowo? Well he can't get straight medicine. I will suggest he apply for undergraduate program probably in human science. After graduation then he can apply for medicine. Medicine is not for all ma'am, the programme is freaking expensive.

Well, SEVIS is not the reason you were denied. Did you fill your DS160 form all by yourself?

i made a mistake while filling the ds160 form, i put my dads name on the present employer space while filling the ds160 form instead of the company's name cause i work in my dad's company. do you think i should refill the ds160 form and make that correction or i should explain if it comes up during the interview.
Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 6 by vajayi: 7:03pm On Nov 15, 2014
Yes I filled d the ds160 by myself

Ok. Reschedule and try again. Pay your SEVIS and put everything in prayer, but I don't think the denial is based on not paying SEVIS.

@Walspring

I want a school that won't request for waec and standadized test for admission.

@stevecrun @walspring
@slimmy @imperioxx @msnas and a lot of guys giving invaluable advice God will definitely bless you.

Have read previous threads and it really enlightened me on how i should go forward in my Admission process.

I 'badly' need help on GRE materials i can study on as am presently opting for MSC in a yet to be decided US school next year.

I have HND in Accounts(2003),MBA in Finance(2012) and about 8 years working experience and ampresently still working

*Please good guys,what are my chances in the US school admission as i have not applied for a Visa before and i'll be 36yrs old next year,as it is on my int'l' Passport.i also have an uncle and brother in the US who have decided to sponsor me.

*I have started applying to US schools but i read here the importance of having a standardized test like a GRE to better my chances of getting a VISA thats why i earnestly need it.

All your useful tips will be highly welcomed of my chances and hope for fall admission next year.

Thanks,
Much appreciation.

I need schools that offer scholarship without standardized tests and that won't request for my academic transcript. I'm going for msc in Mathematical Agriculture.

Law edu is such a nice course, however the law part of edu isn't my friend because if I eventually study the course, all Nigerians seeking for waivers won't be privileged to study in US. I'll make sure the law is stiff and consequently will make VO more stern. So, law edu is out of it. A better suggestion, still with a full ride scholarhip, pls. Thanks cheesy grin
