sorry I'm updating this late, I have been busy, I applied for this wen oga ikandah posted it and got selected, the summit is tomorrow, anybody else coming?
Kelechukwu clap for yourself then, since you applied alone you should go alone or are you looking for who you will share transport or accommodation cost with? I think you should deep hands into the grant you might get in 6months time, run the expenses with it, then replace it later. The only thing you need to do now is pray you are selected for the mentoring program. All the best bro.

you all should take into cognizance that youwin sec has changed its way of doing things, as they say they have right to do at any time. youwin3 is never like youwin1 nor youwin2.
my believe is, just about anything can happen. i even have strong believe that even the method of monitoring will be different as well as the kind of reports to be sent by monitors. youwin has really learned its lessons from 1 and 2 just the way awardees of 1 and 2 learned their lessons.
My simple advice is, if you have any awardee from 1 or 2, try to understand their mistakes with the view of avoiding them happening to you.
secondly, for those that have the thinking of buying luxury cars, building houses, marrying first or second wife, going to mecca, or even running away to Dubai or Malaysia with youwin money, they should please think twice because sec has set up all necessary steps to stop such occurrences. All these things i mentioned have happened in youwin1 and 2.
by the way, we youwin3 have no reason to make fatal mistakes as we have predecessors from whom we learned lessons.
Thanks to all.
just my opinion.

Well said. I am YouWIN1 awardee and what you are saying is just the truth.

It is your right as a customer to have full details on your account opening process.

An account must be opened within a week even in the most challenging situation.

To resolve any account opening issue, please do the following.

Visit the branch and ask for the progress viz status of account opening. If your account number is nor ready, demand a reason. Usually, the fault might be from the account holder who has refused to submit certain documents.

If you are certain all documents have been submitted and account not yet opened, ask to see the branch manager. Do not let any unit head or operations head restrict you from seeing the manager. It is your right and that is why the manager is being paid.

Communicate your displeasure to the manager and ask for a definite resolution date.

On that date, your account number must be ready. If not, simply escalate same by visiting the bank's website and copying the complaint or customer service email. Tell them the process you have gone through.
You should get the number in 24 hours max.

Denn well said... We all have the right to talk to the branch manager directly... Its your right. However if they play u or u not satisfied..
CALL THEIR CONTACT CENTER and u get all issues resolved within 24 hours. Its a fact!!!!

I am trying to understand this.

You have account numbers and your account has not been opened?
Re: Youwin Business Competition 2013 by hmbs(m): 10:11am On Nov 26, 2014
Yes.we all have acct numbers generated for us from their office In Abuja before asking us to submit our documents to regularise our accts.we started this process on the 2nd of Novermber.the pre-generated accts have numbers but with youwin imo 20 as acct name. The idea was to ensure that the youwin accts are cornered by the big tops in the bank as their cabal.
Re: Youwin Business Competition 2013 by hmbs(m): 10:15am On Nov 26, 2014
The owerri branch people are not comfortable with it and not showing any seriousness in opwning the accts since it does not belong their branch but Abuja. All credit goes to the marketer in Abuja while they are Aaron.
Re: Youwin Business Competition 2013 by hmbs(m): 10:19am On Nov 26, 2014
But the Abuja people calming us down knowing fully well the game that they played. Its just bank politics and target meeting issues.60 of us in imo will generate close to 500 million deposit for the marketer in Abuja.
Re: Youwin Business Competition 2013 by Denn(m): 10:42am On Nov 26, 2014

The Central Bank of Nigeria has explained further reasons for the Monetary Policy Committee’s devaluation of the naira and raising of key rates.

The MPC had, at its 98th meeting in Abuja on Tuesday, devalued the naira from N155 to N168 against the dollar, increased Monetary Policy Rate from 12 to 13 per cent, and also increased the private sector Cash Reserve Ratio from 15 to 20 per cent, among other policy decisions.

The CBN said the policy decisions were meant to save the economy from a precarious situation of a sliding naira and excess banking sector liquidity.

The Deputy Governor, Corporate Services, Mr. Bayo Adelabu, made these known when members of the House of Representatives Committee on Banking and Currency visited its Lagos office on Wednesday.

He said, “The decision of the MPC was the best we could do under the circumstance the economy is presently. We noticed that a lot of things contributed to the pressure on the naira. Firstly is the declining revenue from oil.

“Our source of revenue in this country is just oil and when oil price declined by about 25 per cent in the last one month, we expected that there would be pressure on the foreign reserves. We believe that the pressure on the naira, apart from the declining oil prices, is also as a result of the liquidity in the banking industry whereby a lot of frivolous demands are being made by customers.”

“The only thing to do to stop bank from granting loans to these customers is to mop up more of the monies available to the banks. That was why we increased the CRR on private sector deposits. We believe it will reduce the pressure on the foreign reserves.”

The CBN deputy governor noted that instead of lending to the productive sectors of the economy, banks were busy advancing loans to mainly importers of consumable items.

“What the CBN is saying is that we need to become more patriotic. We should patronise locally-made goods and services. We do not need to be importing everything. This is part of the reasons for the pressure on the naira,” Adelabu said.

“Why should we be importing fruits, eggs and tooth picks?” he asked.

The deputy governor noted that in any developing economy, the central bank had a mandate to develop any sector that contributes to economic growth and development.

He said the CBN would never allow any activity to distract it from its core mandate, adding that “our focus is on stability as have been in various decisions taken at our Monetary Policy Committee meetings, where all these things are always discussed at length before we arrive at what is best for the economy.

“In terms of financial stability, this is a mandate that the central bank cannot joke with.”

The Chairman of the House committee, Mr. Jones Onyeriri, said the CBN needed to look at the impact of its policies on the downtrodden as the National Assembly was usually concerned about the welfare of the citizenry.

“I know that the core mandate of any monetary authority is to ensure that there is credit accessibility to the people, especially in Nigeria where you have a middle class that is almost extinct. It is our duty to recreate the middle class.

“So, I think for the CBN, because we are in trying times, I think you should have more concentration on recreating the middle class instead of paying our attention to things that might not have a direct relationship with your core mandate.
