They dare not try Akume's Seat. If Gabriel Suswan doesn't take care, he might lose the Seat to whoever APC fields come February 14th.
PDP past National Chairmen have really been suffering. That was how GEJ sacked then Minister of Defence, Dr Bello Haliru Mohammed, even when it was obvious that he could have transferred him to another Ministry. They sure know how to humiliate their past Chairmen. Lest I forgot, Bamanga Tukur has just been suspended! cool

Please put me in the light of current devt btw Gemade and Suswan. Did Gemade leave the party (PDP) or stepped down for Suswan, I understand Suswan administration is an embarrassment to the young generation who are expected to show good leadership stride. Perhaps my guy need immunity from EDCC. How I wish APC could field Ugba again or any credible candidate that can just defeat Suswan annointed candidate.

Uduaghan picked the wrong fight in the state. If this report is true, then, he has done the best thing for himself and delta stste.

Information reaching The Complex indicates that embattled Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan has stepped down and has given up his senatorial ambition to enable James Manager continue as senator.

Uduaghan, who has been locked in political battle with James Manager, current senator, whom he hoped to replace at the Senate, has finally conceded his ambition.

Sources informed The Complex that Uduaghan agreed to step down so as to give room for his boy, Tony Obuh to emerge as the next Delta State Governor.

Is this democracy? To hades with these miscreants. Nigeria has fallen to monarchy and tyranny. Exiting political office holders, install their persons as their successors. Sons & daughters taking over from their fathers. In short am going to invest a fortune in this....: 'this country'll boil'. #nigerianssaynotonepotismandmonarchy

Suswam's administration is the worse in West Africa and may remain so for a very long time. He didn't just refused to pay salaries, he recruited thugs who went about public places harassing anyone who dare say something against their boss. It's so disheartening that such a man (If at all he qualifies to be called a "man"wink could even pull any weight in the first place. The PDP gave too much powers to their governors that they can change delegates at will. Now it's being used to deprive the people of the right to vote for a candidate of their choice. The Tiv nation is one with a greater sense of "the person" instead of "the party". All I see coming from Benue in 2015 are 2 APC senators and 1 PDP Senator.

It is a pity that Barnabas Gemade a Former Chairman of the party is being treated in such a shabby manner

Giving credence to the statement which says PDP has a way of rubbishing its best

To even think that David Mark could not put in a voice for Gemade is the height if betrayal........

The Governor had David mark pinned down when he said Mark's seat is not under any threat hence succeeded in putting Mark in a precarious position not to be able to plead for Gemade's seat.....It was more like telling Mark to 'comot face'

The 3rd seat in Benue held by Sen Akume is also a 'no go area'

Why would some of us want to remain in the JUNGLE demonstrating un-evolved PRIMATE traits.
Yet we go dey run for American, UK etc visa to enjoy the results of their COLLECTIVE evolution.

Why did a very popular, two-term president Bill Clinton not IMPOSE his wife Hillary over Obama in the Democratic Party in 2008
Why are we so ALLERGIC to a society of Law & Order that creates a LEVEL playing ground, as much as possible for everyone?
For how long shall we remain in this neo-PRIMITIVE stage shocked

Among all the Senators who have been at loggerheads with their Governors over their Senatorial Ambition, only Barnabas Gemade appears to be the scapegoat. Chime stepped down for Ike Ewkerimadu, Uduaghan has just stepped down for James Manager. But Barnabas Gemade [a founding Member of the PDP] had to quit the Party for Gabriel Suswam! Eeyahh!
How about T.A Orji. Has he conceded his senatorial ambiion yet?

I guess PDP has begun to do what it knows how to do best to some of this Governors in order to force them to jettison their twin ambition of installing a successor and at the same time go to the senate

That is by allowing them have a look at security and intelligence report as to their 'financial' dealings up till this moment.......

Finally it has come to light, serving PDP Govs clamouring for the senate has got their political wings clipped. The serving senators had to rise up after GEJ was agreeing to every tom, dick and harry governor that has interest (ofcourse them poor under performed govs all want to die in office) and has finally make a great pass on the presidency.

The only Gov that may switch to the red carpet of the senate that I could really think of is Akpabio...thank God my dear suswam would get a big-huge red card and end to his political ambition just the way Super Eagles didn't qualify for Nations Cup and having Adidas not renewing their contract.

I'm glad you know this. So, can we all stop the clannishness and sentiments-ridden support for these looters , but rather elect men with proven track records who are dependable, while we also hold them responsible. Pls, Let's condemn the bad, and applaud the good henceforth, irrespective of primordial or parochial interests/party affiliations.
