This is not dictionary definition. This is what I understand by being firm and being a bully.

A firm man is a straightforward individual. His yes means yes and his no means no. He is also bendable but he is very assertive. He is not aggressive and he understands how to pass a message across to his wife. A firm man has this aura and presence that makes a woman respect him and his opinion. A firm man is wise, keeps to his promise and he is a leader.

A bully on the other hand is a coward. The best way of passing across a message is by shouting or subduing women. A bully does not understand interpersonal relationship or communication. A bully is carefree and does not always mean his words cus they are too predictable and changeable hence wives of bullies never take their men serious cus she knows it will end in shouting or at worst beating. A bully is not a leader. To me a bully and a drunkard go hand in hand. Bullies are very aggressive. That's the only word they understand and they always seem to bully weak people at home or the society at large. The moment u stand up to a bully. His wings has been broken.

There are some few manly ones out there no doubt, but you and I know they are the weaker sex when it comes to this issue. If understood my previous post, I was making a case for those that are not a match for your strength. There are other ways one can instil fear into a female without physical abuse.
