I'm presently reading the Life of Miss Maria and tears ran down my eye when I read "The Stranded Girl" episode (about Nkem) & what happened to Nina. There are still a whole lot of Nigerians especially our teenage girls going through the same thing. I wonder what will become of her (Nkem) now. I'm pleading if Maria's story can be published and sent out for people to know what is happening and hope it gets to the authority. If they can bring home all stranded Nigerians it will be a good thing. Thanks Zuby for sharing your experience and Maria's with us.

Dude let it go cos ure beginning to sound like a sissy. Its his novel n he can darn well do as he pleases. There is no crime in making money off your books. Great writers do it ALL d time n it does nt mean they don't enjoy writing. I once read a wonderful story in d literature segment n d writer yanked off some chapters cos he has plans to publish his book someday. When u write ur story on NL (with over 100 pages) come back n talk here!
