Very possible. But 'truss' me its not an easy thing to pull off.
I met this Ethiopian beauty a couple of weeks ago and we got talking => became friends.

Out of the blues she started calling me honey and baby whenever we are talking over the phone shocked

I immediately asked her to cut those endearment craps, because I see her as my sister. For where! This girl no gree o. She bursted into tears and all and even went to the extent of reporting me to some of my friends, that they should come and beg me. It was a whole new experience to me walahi, was scared to the bones. The weird thing is, she knew that I'm in a relationship and has even met my girlfriend.

Smiled when I saw this topic, she just called me this night that she's not feeling good and I should come see her.

@OP admittedly it can be a frustrating experience being in the Friend zone. but it is essential to understand and accept that things won't go your way and simply detach yourself and friend benefits from the wicked friendzoner.

it is very easy to friendzone a girl but it is not intentional especially when you are in the midst of girls and the odd plain but naughty Jane wants you ahead of her sexxxxxy friends.. she will do anything including fronting up one of her friends for sex so you can keep her close. what I do is get another guy to go bust her up good that works (usually)

Depends on what an accurate definition of "friend zoning" means.

But if it means...Ok I just googled.

"friendzoned
When a member of the opposite sex (usually one you want to hook up with) declares you to be "just a friend", thereby ruining all potential chances of sex."

In that case a guy will only friendzone a girl when he fears that sex with her will bring about some kind of commitment he doesn't want with the girl. OR... he is simply repulsed by her.
Less guys friendzone girls because we like to keep the sex option open for when we might need it.. grin

. Yes, even when we don't exactly care about the girl. Sad truth.

If sex were not an issue, 80% of girls would be chilling in the friendzone.
