It's often said that the environment where a child is raised has a lot to contribute in his/her conduct. We had a boisterous argument in my office on which state in Nigeria provides the best environment for child development. My choicest state was Ibadan. Other nice places in my opinion were Abuja, Enugu, Cross River, Akwa Ibom, Ondo and Plateau. What state in Nigeria do you think provides the ideal setting for child development?

yeah, that is the only problem I have with the north. I pray for an end to the insurgency

lt is more dependent on d family setting than d geographical location. l am lgbo but born & raised in Lagos, though we speak Yoruba fluently but my parents made sure it was only lgbo we spoke @ home, we were raised wit values that has taken us far.

But seriously IMO, this thread is kinda baseless.

Raise your child wherever you find yourself. The family value will determine how well brought up your child would be and not the geographical location.

Abuja central area is a very nice place

I personally think Lagos cause of its social status

Lagos Lagos Lagos Lagos Lagos. In lagos you will meet different kind of mentality (positve and negative side of life). A child that want to misbehave will surely do no matter where he/she is raised .

I would say Abuja,

Firstly it has good roads, Good Schools, and so forth.

Secondly The amount of no do wells in the society are less in Abuja

Thirdly They are people from Diffrent. Backgrounds in Abuja your kid may learn one or Two things

Fourthly In terms of general clean environment Abuja is d best bet.
