Re: Usa Visit Visa by LadyGuinivere: 1:37pm On Dec 13, 2014 |
extrovert6:1. What are you going to the conference for? 2. Does it add any benefit to your field of study/career path? 3. Why is your aunt sponsoring you (an adult postgrad) These questions will guide you to know the possibilty of getting the US visa. The countries travelled to are neither here nor there (from history of visa transcripts here) Documents: evidence of any thing you fill in the form for egs -are you staying in a hotel? Then you need hotel reservation. Who is funding the trip? You need bank statement. Is the conference paid for? You need proof and so on and so forth. There is no exhaustive list of documents Good luck |

donrocky:This thread is so quiet and its funny I'm the one answering questions abi una go church? You have to add other factors apart from travel history- do u have a job? Are you married? Ow old are you? Do you have anything that can be considered a strong ties/reasons for you to return after your visit? |

LadyGuinivere:thanks so much ladyguinivere am a final year student and am 23 years old,am engaged, my uncle is sponsoring the trip.....the person am going to stay with in Texas usa is my elder sister.....pls enlighten me...thanks so much.. |
Re: Usa Visit Visa by LadyGuinivere: 11:59am On Dec 14, 2014 |
donrocky:In my honest opinion this is what I see (and what the history /trend in this thread has shown) 23 years- You are very young. You can disaPpear in US and hustle Unmarried- another negative. They believe you can go and do arrange marriage Uncle Sponosoring you- that shows you don't have strong financial backup. I advise you to wait until you marry, have gotten a job and possibly disvirgined your passport. Unless u wan go try your luck! 1 Like |

@LadyGuinivere is age a factor considered before a b1/b2 visa is granted because I don't think so, my friend is in her early 20's, 23 precisely, didn't have a job when she got her visa but already she had various travel history to Paris, S/A etc and she filled that she wasn't paying for her trip personally. I think it all depends on the v.o that interviews and how you are able to present your case. 1 Like |

chloe7:I agree. From ur scenario, she had travel history. That's why I said in my opinion. Its a game of numbers and right now, I see nothing that will sway d VO, except e go smile charm the VO 1 Like |

Re: Usa Visit Visa by Nobody: 3:35pm On Dec 14, 2014 |
Pls I have some questions to ask 1.how do you know if you have been banned after an interview 2.when you get an invitation letter with the document and you claim to be related to the person, is there a way the vo would know |

joeybaba: What were you told after the interview? |
Re: Usa Visit Visa by Nobody: 4:08pm On Dec 14, 2014 |
I was told that I can't be granted visa at this time bla bla bla |
Re: Usa Visit Visa by justwise(m): 4:14pm On Dec 14, 2014 |
joeybaba: Then you are not banned, just not qualified for visa at that time. |
Re: Usa Visit Visa by Nobody: 4:35pm On Dec 14, 2014 |
Ok |
Re: Usa Visit Visa by justwise(m): 4:44pm On Dec 14, 2014 |
joeybaba: You just put your self in a difficult situation, the same document given to you by the agent will be given to next victim. Next application could be difficult for you. |
Re: Usa Visit Visa by Nobody: 4:51pm On Dec 14, 2014 |
LadyGuinivere:na only smile lmao, smile no dey charm those v.o's at all at all especially that Chinese young guy v.o in Lagos |
Re: Usa Visit Visa by Nobody: 4:55pm On Dec 14, 2014 |
donrocky:i'm afraid but dubai might be enough and might not be enough, this usa visa issue can be very dicey, sometimes travel history can matter, sometimes it can't matter. |
Re: Usa Visit Visa by Nobody: 4:55pm On Dec 14, 2014 |
justwise: Pls did you get my mail message ?? |
Re: Usa Visit Visa by tzetzefly(m): 6:46pm On Dec 14, 2014 |
misszionboo: Next time you apply, make sure there's a change in your circumstance. There is a cogent reason for travel. You have sufficient funds at your disposal. You have either economic, social, family or all combined ties. At your interview, you can be said to appear like who you claimed to be on your DS-160. 1 Like |

wunmi38: Appears on paper that your circumstance has changed considerably since your last application. wunmi38: If for once you can prove beyond reasonable doubt that you don't seem desperate for this entry visa, then you should be fine. |
Re: Usa Visit Visa by jcaribie: 10:06pm On Dec 14, 2014 |
extrovert6: The fact that your aunt is sponsoring you is quite dicey...unless you can convince them on why she'll sponsor you, I do not believe the outcome will be a positive one. It'd have been better if your parent(s) were sponsoring you....#HomeTies. |
Re: Usa Visit Visa by Nobody: 6:31am On Dec 15, 2014 |
jcaribie:even your parents sponsoring you will raise an eyebrow, a mistake I made that i'll never repeat. |
Re: Usa Visit Visa by LadyGuinivere: 9:46am On Dec 15, 2014 |
chloe7: Pele. Una wen even see parents willing to sponsor! |
Re: Usa Visit Visa by Nobody: 11:19am On Dec 15, 2014 |
LadyGuinivere:I only put parents because I felt they had more money so it will be better for me, but I was making a mistake, now i'm reapplying as a sponsor for myself o,I can't even make that mistake again |
Re: Usa Visit Visa by jcaribie: 3:45pm On Dec 15, 2014 |
chloe7: She's in school... The widely held concept will be that she's dependent on them.... A student has nothing more that could show home ties apart from school and family. 2 Likes |
