my bro,for sometime now, electricity in Ghana is like a cup of salt in a reservoir...but I trust we shall get out of it soon!

Have power outages began in Ghana?. How many hours of electricity do you get per day in Accra on the average?

the list is not all about the rich of the country its about the progress that is happening in that country not mainly on infrastructures but on improvements of the life of the citizens.....I'm talking about social and basic things.......are there enough schools, hospitals, availability of water and electricity and any improvements of fighting poverty

I agreed with you, but we can't shy away from the truth that we are sinking. Please go to market and here double prices of things you bought last month while there is no cash in circulation. I don't like that country called USA, but the analysis is not far away from the truth.

u are feeling the heat because ghana was not know to have power outages like what we are experiencing now.. Its just of recent generating sets started selling.. You have ghanaians as a whole to blame for being short sighted. If npp was left in. You can imagine where ghana would be by now.

Why do we like pettiness in Nigeria? Why do we consider anything white to be superior? who the hell is CNN to be dishing out economic indicators? Are they World bank, IMF or what. What criteria, parameters or indices did they use in collating their data? This is nothing but absolute hogwash that stemmed out of their imagination. BBC, CCTV, Aljeezera, Press tv, Channels, TVC or even AIT name them, could as well bring out their own respective opinion about Africa! What is prosperous about Burkina Faso, Ghana, Rwanda or senegal? When countries like Mauritius, Kenya, Tanzania, Nigeria, Egypt etc are not mentioned. What or how do they define prosperity in the light of this, please. Prosperous in terms of GDP, GNP, Literacy levels, economic advancement, Health development, general well being of populace or what, how did those countries listed fair better than the others not listed, did they visit all the countries to collect their data or was it done online? The problem with Nigerians is that we politicize everything even when it lacks merit, just to make cheap political gains. To me, this report is trash and is fit for the dustbin!

CNN uses data from those organisations. They just broke it down. You can do it too. Just Goggle Africa nations per capital income and rank the countries

So Burkina Faso and Senegal are more prosperous than Nigeria? What's their criteira for judgement? Despite the numerous challenges facing our country, we are still prosperous peole. We survive anywhere and at anytime in any condition.

When the money earned by the country is divided by the population of the country, each Senegalese have more money (in dollar) than each Nigerian. We survive anywhere and anytime make us harder people not more prosperous!

Let me get this straight - you have a problem with western nations ranking Africans against other Africans? Would you rather have them rank us against other western nations?

Are you also saying you have a problem with anything originating from western nations? If so, I suggest you eliminate 99.9999% of things you use or come across daily because it probably originated from them, especially if you live in a big city.

What you should be concerned about is bias. In this case, the report is there for you to read and if you sense bias, go ahead and post specific examples. Just don’t throw blanket statements out there. Specifically, what in the paper do you have a problem with?

Go and die,we have been cooking with fire before the arrival of Europeans, also am not the same class with someone that is inferior like you,let me also tell you that many things that they europeans are using is from Africa,Egypt if you have forgotten. Go and dring your alumo boy.fool.
