did you see anything like top5 on this post .... it simply reads , reasons you should get married later in life besides there is no terms agreement on NL where I have to show how romantic I am . I can choose to create any topic I like as long as it entertains and makes sense .its about matured views and discussion and not topics like will you cry when your boyfriend leaves you. if you are not ok with the thread , you dont have to comment.

1.My mum had her phd when i was about 13. So anyone who says you cant have a career and a family at the same time is just plain lazy.
2.My parents where living in face me i slap you when they got married now they have over 3 houses across the country.
Let's just face it, most women of today don't have what it takes to make a good marriage no thanks to the Beijing conference...

i expect u to get the intent of a post rather than being an unnecessary critic. Whether top 5 reasons or 5 reasons, this are similar terms to use. Some topics are not worth being discussed about because they are very obvious and that's the point. I don't need anyone to tell me marrying later in life can help me further my education for example.
If u are very familiar the trend here, u will discover most people just open threads cos they want to make front page, even unnecessary threads.

Another thing! Don't go too personal on people, Nairaland is different from the real life, so don't take things too seriously.

thanks , but I dont see any criticism from me here , you should check yourself . like I told you , if you dont like a thread , simply ignore. those who like it will come in and discuss . yes , you may not need someone to tell you the advantages of gettin married at sometime but you cannot tell of the next person. you should direct your displeasure in threads like this to the mods and seun as they are the ones who move topics to front page .

Abi o my dear. We were made to believe those stuff KBarbie mentioned as a mark of responsibility.

Friends who got married early (early 20s) have grown-up kids now who are almost independent.

Sure it was challenging but they managed.

Soon they will be able to fly to the Caribbean or wherever on holiday, without a care in the world.

Whatever they didn't enjoy in their 20s, they can enjoy in their 30s and beyond.
Don't 4get, a lady may not be so lucky to be fertile into mid-40s.

I remember having to tell a lady of 34 that she had reached her menopause. Rare but happens.

Your energy and vitality in your 20s is way better than in your late 40s.
