I had my first SUV at 24, and the girl I was seeing was driving her mother's car.
But later I did not have any car or SUV, and she was still coming to see me with hers.
A popular local celebrity who has displayed her latest trophy car and SUVs on Nairaland was not bothered when I had no car and once we had to take a "Danfo" minibus and she had to sit on my laps until she bought her first car when she was only 21 at UNILAG and later bought two more cars before she even knew how to blog.

Having a car is necessary for convenience, but not a must for dating as long as the guy can afford to pay for cab, bus or Keke NAPEP.
