So I had an interesting discussion with a close friend who felt "trapped" in his relationship with his girlfriend.
Problem: Whenever they are out together or in at home, his girlfriend makes it a personal goal to get a selfie of them together or a pic of where they are or what they're doing then goes on to share it on Social media with interesting updates like "Out with bae", or "So wonderful to hv alone time with you love", or "Who's more obsessed abt us, me or him?", etc.

Personally it's not a big deal to me if the lady I'm seeing does it but he feels like each time it feels like additional shackles go on him with each share on instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Snapchat.
It's not about her spoiling any "runs" he might wanna have on the side cos that doesn't interest him at all. He just doesn't like his personal life being bared like it is by his girlfriend. Feels "shackling" (his words).

Just wondering if it's something that should feel like going deeper into some relationship dungeon whenever your girlfriend constantly shares your moments together on Social media.

I don't enjoy attention either. I wouldn't say every guy who disagrees with that gesture has side chicks, some of us just prefer minimal attention.

I agree. Not all guys that mind the gesture has someone on the side, he's not just into the whole relationship on Social thing. Naturally, he sucks it up n plays along cos he sees it as something that pleases his woman but being a private guy sometimes it gets wearisome.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say girls that don't like the bf doing the same (posting their love life on Social media) are almost certainly having multiple man friends on the side.. Lol

some boys sha oh,whats so hard in saying "girl,i dont like the way you update our personal life on the web,reduce or stop it". Some peoples problems arent really problems.
