I understand what you are trying to say, it should never be so but most times people don't choose who they love, it just happens, even without a physical presence.

For instance, you saw him/her on a social platform and got attracted to the person, then like them, start caring and showing concern, exchange sweet words and love then crawls in, yea it's very possible

Some of our parents never dated, they were match-made to each other and never saw each other until few days prior to the wedding. But they later fell in love and lived happily for years. My mom for instance was one of such women.

It's not the circumstance to which two people met that matters, but the love and sacrifice they are willing to put into the relationship, and how far they can go that counts.
