hello house, i have been able to unlock my Lenovo thinkpad t420 supervisor password and after unlocking it i can now gain entrance into the bios setup, but the laptop can not boot to windows/os it shows that the hard disk is locked, whenever i insert my hard disk i get the lock icon,

please how do i unlock a SATA HARD DISK of 250GB SO THAT THE LAPTOP CAN BOOT TO WINDOWS
?

I tried installing window 8 on my omatek laptop which is running on window 7, then i got pop up telling me to uninstal somes particular drivers which are not compatible with window 8. Dear ADETWIN, should it be like sending an engineer all the time? there are some stuff we could teach people and let them understand, someone asking for internet security but no cd rom , why do u think he needs an engineer? cant he work this out on his own with a little tip given. I believe exceptional cases mostly HARDWARE problem should be when you should be talking about sending an engr... The Thread is getting boring with "send an engr on small cases". please just try and understand my plead.

what ANTIVIRUS internnet security are you trying to install bro..AVAST,AVIRA,NOB360,KASPERSKY ?

If yo have any, since no CD rom, you can always get the setup on a flash and install from the usb port.

always try and indicate the error message you are getting...
drop ur pc specs too

Just post any problems you are having with your pc here. The more software related, the better.

If you're having virus, worms or any other malware problems. Try scanning your PC with RoboSAM first.

I believe he meant drivers. No worries about your Windows OS. After installation, your Windows should drive the missing drivers. If it doesn't, you could always download them
