There is nothing wrong with this. Didnt the bible asked us to obey the laws of the government ? It is wrong if they asked you to vote for a particular person.

After JEG and his cronies tried to divide Nigeria into north vs south they failed, they tired ethnicity they succed for a while until the west and some detribalised easterners woke up,they moved to religion they failed now is more painful for them seeing many church shouting arm your self with your PVC to vote, only people of the south east are desperately supporting JEG not because of his performance but because of the need of acceptance and this support will make every other tribe afraid of voting a truely igbo candidate when he comes up.cos it will be said they will blindly support him even if he is mis governing the nation. My brothers from the east don't sell your own birth right for a person who added ebele and azikwe to his name an ijaw man just because of votes.

Members of Redeem Christian Church of God Victory house in Festac town and other branches were asked to show their Permanent Voters Cards during church
service today. The Pastor in charge of the Festac province said pastor Adeboye had that every member of the church come with it as proof that they have registered and also advised those that have not done
so to do so immediately so they can vote during the general elections holding in February. More pics after the cut...

Some of you knuckleheads talk as if church members do not live in the same society and pass through the same struggles in life.
Lack of security, power, and other vices affect pastors/ministers the same way it affects everyone else.
Evil persists when the few good ones maintain silence.
When you ignorantly mouth off about separation of church and State, know that such separation was not because of heaven or hell.

If you have studied your bible thoroughly you would have known most of the prophets in the bible were involve in politics. Some trur prophets even plot coup in the bible. From samuel to Nathan to Jeremiah they were all very politically active and relevant in thier time

if you hv known your time from the bible, you will know that the church era is in conclusion. from now every thing is fake, may God keep even you to see the downfall of the churches from now.

Thank you, the situation of this Country is as bad as it is because the people of God have neglected there responsibility to choose good leaders. When we leave the running of our Country to worldly people then we keep complaining, undecided this is a step in the right direction . The Church is taking it's rightful place in ensuring that it's members play their role in society and exercise our right to vote

Give unto Caesar what is Caesar's, your vote, and God what is God's, your heart& soul.
Even Christ never asked Christians to shy away or rebel against the state.

There is no better way than to inform the church members to be proactive towards deciding who governs them. We have left the era where some church members will sit back at home and allow clueless leaders to be voted in by unsuspecting electorates. Religious institutions should be at the forefront of educating eligible electorates in their domain about the need to vote in credible leaders. So the question of if its GMB or GEJ does not arise here. All we crave for is CHANGE!

Exactly what i wanted to say.
Its High time churches get proactive.
DO NOT SUPPORT ANY CANDIDATE AS A CHURCH. BUT PLEASE ENCOURAGE MEMBERS TO VOTE!!

Actually this is good development.

In the message above, members were implored to vote for the candidate of their choice, it's not like they are forced to vote a particular candidate so tell me, how is telling people to exercise their right a bad thing?

Anyways, SAI BUHARI.
Not in the house of God...The church is a place to teach the word of God.
