@Op I can't see any sense in your post..

A solider used a publicly accessible twitter to make sensitive comments and u blaming a blogger for using the microblogging platform to echo the comments..

You must be completely nuts and have no idea of what you are talking about..

If you ever had a brain. You won't be posting this in the politics section when there is a contact for on LIB..

More grease to our gallant solders

You obviously negate the ideation of the message content and attack the Op rather..That was bad my brother.... We must learn to be mature in character (On/Off) and otherwise

That was my exact thoughts when i saw the post on Linda Ikeji this morning. I am not in the military but i just knew a post like that in the public eye will have very grave consequence for the young soldier. Blogspots and online media need to be a lot more responsible in this area.

I still hope he does not get into serious trouble though
y did the soldier tweet such in d first place if he doesn't want to get into trouble??he will still get inti trouble regardless if linda blogged about it or not

Ermm...I'm still searching for How Linda is at fault here?
He decided to break his silence on TWITTER, that means he wants everybody to know what's happening there! Linda only helped in propagating it! Which I'm sure that's what he really want!

It would have been trending on twitter sef, for linda to see it! Maybe you should also write an open letter to twitter servers, so that they would stop Nigeria Soldiers tweets from trending!

Mr Gej support.
I don't normally reply insults, but ill reply urs. Under Military Law, dissident comments made against the State are treasonable offences. Negative comments made against a superior, is a Court-Martial offence..The soldier,in question broke these laws..Instead of keeping his personal opinions secret, the blog invaded is twitter handle and now, I can assure you, he is in a lot of mess already. Next time, read posts before typing out of impulse..I won't insult you..If you think I'm without a brain, as you so happily pointed out, then that's left to you.
Thank you.

You made the guy you replied look so stuupiddd..

Very very mature response from you.

I tried to reason with u but as much as I hate lib, i don't think she is at fault here instead the soldier that was foolish enough not to be able to conceal his identity on the world wide Web especially knowing fully well that he intends dishing out sensitive info. Afterall, u Av been able to conceal urs successfully.

Linda Ikeji is not on nairaland, even if she is,she might not see your post. Kindly send her an email through her blog to lay your complaints.

Do u knw d meaning of an open letter? LInda Ikeji does not have to be on Nairaland to read the comments.

i wonder how u knew she wasnt here anyways, or if she was, dt she woudnt read them. possibly u have a software that knows every body who visits nland.

My point; its an open letter, just d way Obj wrote to Gej, not a closed letter so no need to send her an email.

Oga sirius, don't blame the blogger but rather the soldier. It's the work of media to broadcast information no matter how sensitive just as they do everywhere in the world. Even cnn,bbc and others spread sensitive info. Maybe u have hate for Linda, while not keep that to ur self bros.

You still don't have any point. In case you did not know, Twitter is a social media platform, which means that "personal opinions" expressed on this medium are anything but "personal". Linda Ikeji or any other blogger for that matter has the right to report any tweet she considers interesting or newsworthy.

The stupid soldier must face the consequences of his indiscretion. You don't come out on social media with your full identity to rant and whine like a pu**y and then expect bloggers to cover your cowardly Ass. If he went against military laws and norms and committed treasonable acts by complaining against the authorities in public (because twitter is actually PUBLIC), then that is entirely his cross to carry. Leave Linda Ikeji or any other blogger out of it. They are not conventional print media; they are bloggers, and they are only doing their lawful job.

The OP has no case.
