Lmao!!! So what makes her blog a gossip site and NL not a gossip site? Most of the gossips on her blog, you will also find it on NL frontpage! So why call hers a gossip site and NL not?

NL is more of a news site with verifiable links to news items than being gossip. LIB is more gossip for me. If u want gossip here, we know where to go.

Go and check her site now, you'll see more of politics than celebs things!

Probably because politics is the order of the day and the main thing for now till after elections. I Av stopped going there and won't go. Am very sure she will surely go back to her celebrity gossip Crap.

He decided to break his silence on TWITTER, that means he wants everybody to know what's happening there! Linda only helped in propagating it! Which I'm sure that's what he really want!

It would have been trending on twitter sef, for linda to see it! Maybe you should also write an open letter to twitter servers, so that they would stop Nigeria Soldiers tweets from trending!

morsadh:

I'd love to believe that such a tweet would've been retweeted by many handles/trended on the SN before Linda Ikeji posted it. Yes she was wrong. Putting up the picture as well puts such person at risk of a court martial. However... common sense is an important factor that human beings fail to apply on a daily basis. Linda would seek even the underground for news to post on her blog. The soldier in question lacked discretion to the last! So did Linda. Both parties were at fault. You do great injustice by being one-sided, instead of being objective!

Thanks,

Two wrong does not make a right. I do acknowledged that the soldier erred and now at risk of death. You see professional journalist and news blogger knows how to reveal or publish their news without revealing their source or sources. A news blogger should learn how to hid the identity of sensitive news source because of the type of country that we are in.

My friend, if you have witness military torture once or gone through it, you will prefer to be shot straight on the head. In military torture you see death before dying. It is a no mercy session.

I am sure the soldier's outburst was triggered by what he sees happening within and around him that he can't but speak out. Look there have been twitter messages by soldiers on the frontline that criticized the way the NE war was been managed and went undetected by the military social media snipper dogs, so the posibility that this twit might have eluded the snipper dog as highly posible as well. But no thanks to LIB, this one went viral.

Linda need to take up a lesson on how to conceal the identity of her news source.

I was surprised months ago sef, when she posted a pic, that my colleague put up on twitter. This pic was about a wrongly packaged blood 4 transfusion, that he was meant for him 2 use @ d hospital. The next day It was on LIB wif his tweet n twitter handle.

So u can see that she and her scavengers r everywhere on the www cos of d nature of their aproko work.
Lastly, if u send lib a mail, ur wasting ur time, she hardly replies except she knows you or u jux lucky! She receives lots of emails daily.

Goon, NL is miles ahead of LIB as far as news reports are concerned. If one has been out of space for months and suddenly wants to know whats going on in the political arena of Nigeria, politics section of NL is a good place to go to and not Lib.
Besides why restrict urself to FP? Far more are inside the sections than FP so i don't really get ur point.

What is even ur problem with other people's money? Did I say I desire her to close shop? Did I encourage anyone that enjoys her to stop going there? It's my choice, my decision, my opinion based on what I came to realise.
If she is making money over ur kind, how does that affect me or my fortune?
U gat a problem ooo.

U are highly ignorant no doubt. No bandwagon effect here but what I came to realise after some time.
Lib remains more of gossip site with little bits of political news grin to spice it up.

Though I have never been a visitor to the famed entertainment blog, I feel compelled to write this article with the hope that it gets to the all individuals concerned.

The Nigerian Army has been actively engaged against the Boko Haram terror group for close to 6 years now. What started out as military operations to flush out sleeper cells operating in State capitals in the N.E has now become a full blown semi-conventional war. Though misinformation through media channels like SaharaReporters has led to dampened morale among civilians as to the true happennings in the N.E, the military has battled on, despite the numerous challenges. I must confess, massive changes are going on in the Nigerian Army..The years of rot caused by military rule is still problem; both in terms of equipment and professionalism.

The purpose of which I am writing this "e-letter" is to address the unruly invasion of military personnel's activities online by the LIB. Today, the Twitter handle of a soldier serving in the N.E was publicly displayed for all and sundry.

Not only will this definitely lead on an unfortunate Court-Martial for this young man, it is a disrespectful and unfortunate use of the media to make cheap political points.

The soldier involved, due to the LIB's irresponsible attitude will have to deal with serious career consequences, among which is a possible court-martial.

I, personally, have a thread on this forum dedicated to the Officers and men of the N.A serving on the frontlines, I had to discontinue the thread out of concern for my personal safety bearing in mind the consequences it might hold for my job. Pasting a soldier's comments on twitter along with his full picture, was not only callous, but highly irresponsible.

Never again should the blog attempt to make cheap news out of sincere complaints by soldiers serving in the conflict zones, As this will not only put them at risk of Military Law, but will discourage personal level interactions between military personnel. The blog should stick to what it does best; "Celebrity" worship.

The real celebs are in Borno, Yobe and Adamawa.

Mr. Siriusblack kindly note that twitter is a public forum too...so am very sure his intention for posting it on twitter is for the public to be aware and he would be very grateful to Linda Ikeji for the publicity.

I don't normally reply insults, but ill reply urs. Under Military Law, dissident comments made against the State are treasonable offences. Negative comments made against a superior, is a Court-Martial offence..The soldier,in question broke these laws..Instead of keeping his personal opinions secret, the blog invaded is twitter handle and now, I can assure you, he is in a lot of mess already. Next time, read posts before typing out of impulse..I won't insult you..If you think I'm without a brain, as you so happily pointed out, then that's left to you.
Thank you.

Quick question - Is the twitter handle of this officer an anonymous account, or is it readily linkable to him?

It seems that u are cursed with FP. How many times do I have to tell u that NL is far more than FP. Most likely 90% of topics don't even make it there and it doesn't mean because they are less credible.
Again, because something is irrelevant doesn't make it gossip.

Gossips are found in both but more in lib than NL as percentage of gossips to total story.
Those in lib overwhelms other stories.
