Hello Nigerians, train services has resumed in the Enugu - Port Harcourt lines. I decided to travel by train to have and share my experiences of travelling on train and compare same with my travels on road.

They wrote #6.20k and yet they are selling for #1050, chai Nigeria. Oh well its still safer hopefully and more comfortable.

They name each engine with the name of our founding fathers, this coach belongs to ..... Ahmadu Bello

I am still making the move, the train has not left the station, seems like a small technical hitch....

That ticket?the amount says 6 NAIRA 20 KOBO, is that the actual amount? or the ticket is from 1979?

We are already moving through Enugu town. ....

The seats have numbers. .....

We didn't stop at the timber shed train stop.......

We are still moving slowly, not much vibrations or noise, when the speed increases I will see the noise levels. The payment is by cash only.

To a new train traveller it is called transformation. But to me nothing has change, the greatest undoing of the Yar'adua/GEJ govt is stopping the construction of the standard gauge rail line and reconstructing the old narrow gauge line.

Is the Abuja - Kadunna not standard gauge?

Please stop misinforming the public. Standard gauge rail construction is ongoing.
